Netflix - New policy with 2 disc sets?

DARN!! You can't envy me anymore  I had three movies out, returned one and got Gangs (2 discs together) which made me have four out, I returned the other two together and they took out my temporary slot so now I only have one coming to me! Ah, it's fine though. I only average...

Netflix - New policy with 2 disc sets?

I think it is one rental, actually. The movie takes up two slots, but then an "extra" slot was created automatically for my other rental. So I have four slots temporarily. I'll try to write up an example/diagram. 1. Gangs of New York 2. Gangs of New York 3. Trapped + Swimfan Note...

Netflix - New policy with 2 disc sets?

I rented Godfather Part II and I looked up the Godfather and got all the listings for the trilogy, which included GF II Disc 1 of 2 and GF II Disc 2 of 2 listed as separate discs. Basically you rent them totally separately as if they are different movies, but wait till both arrive to watch if...

    25th Hour DVD problem?

I don't think it was intentional, but yes, I noticed it too. It doesn't make any sense that they would do that because it's completely out of place to make a line out of sync. I don't know how they could miss it during the production of the DVD though. Shouldn't they watch the DVDs they make...

Dolby Pro Logic and Pro Logic II

PLII is supposed to be discretely left and right channels, and also full bandwidth which means they don't chop off higher and lower octaves like older PLI. And supposedly old PLI and new PLII stuff sound better because it's a better algorithm.

Dolby Pro Logic and Pro Logic II

Maybe not then. I think someone with a PLII reciever and a GC try it out though and see how it sounds. What I want to know is if the left and right surround channels play independent music and effects from each other, because that would mean that DLII is supported and utilized, unlike the PLI...

Dolby Pro Logic and Pro Logic II

Brown, Wiggles: I thought that the GameCube had a sort of real-time PLII encoder, similar to the 5.1 on xbox, that can place sounds in the areas of the game they should be during real time. Since PLII is an update of PL that it has full bandwidth left and right surrounds (separate and not...

Dolby Pro Logic and Pro Logic II

Supposedly PLII basically updates their original PL standard from the 80s to the new millenium, which not only enhances old Dolby Surround and Pro Logic soundtracks, but games can be specifically decoded to play PLII, which has full-bandwidth left and right matrixed surround channels. I say...
