Oh I have another question. I was going over the specs on the B&K 505 & 507, out of curiosity, and noticed the 505 was THX Ultra 2 certified. Now, how is that possible if the 505 is only a 5 channel output? I thought to be THX certified the unit has to have the capabilities of 7.1 ... Please...

I auditioned the Dynaudio Audience 82's and I liked them a lot. Maybe even just a little more then the B&W's... I'll check out the Thiels... Thanks...

Oh, so I can sort of daisy chain the amps. One 2 channel amp for the rears LR, and a 3 channel amp for the fronts LR and center. What about the sub? Oh that get connected through the receiver or prepro right? Am I getting it now? :emoji_thumbsup:

OK, I know this is really going to stir the pot. Which is better, a receiver/amp combo or a pre/pro/amp combo?

Sound like a catch 22 to me. If I get great speakers, I will need a great receiver or separates to drive them...

So Rich, Are you saying I should spend the majority of my cash on the speakers, say B&W 805's, and it still will sound great with a decent receiver, say a $500 yamaha receiver? By the way, in your opinion, 805 or CDM 9NT?

Hi everyone, I have yet another question. I was looking at the backs of the RSX-1055 and RMB-1095. I see where the front speakers, rear speakers, and center speaker connect from the 1055 to the 1095, but I don't see a connection for the sub. Where would I connect the sub? From the 1055?

I'm sorry to create such a frenzy, but it was the 1098 that I was referring to. Sorry...:b Anyway, anybody have any input on B&K ???

I'm preparing myself for the worst. That is the B&W CDM 7NT's do not sound as I expected in my media cabinet, thus...enter the bookshelf speakers.
