As I would hate to endorse Monster cables at this time or buy anything that has been built in conjunction with their marketing or name, I am in a moral confrontation with the fact that Klipsch speakers advertises that they wire internally with Monster brand wiring. When did this alliance...
This is a shame since I was looking forward to some Klipsch Speakers sometime in the future... Assuming Klipsch is still wiring with Monster brand internals... anyone?
True True... Pros and cons guys... You have either choice. Do a little looking into both, and go with your gut. I have no problem with online for a receiver... a TV is another matter. But peace of mind is something else entirely. Once I was convinced I had enough peace of mind in my...
So far... I have not personally heard of anyone NEEDING repairs done on their Elite equipment. (KNOCK ON WOOD) ^_^ The only person I know of who had something done to an ELITE component was a Pioneer hardware update. It wasn't even officially a recall, as they sent him a courtesy letter...
You'll pay more at a B&M though, for little comfort when it comes to peace of mind. Soundpros is reliable... I can't do anything else to convince anyone except say that I have dealth with them, others I know have, and here is one more person vouching for them above. It's free (or almost)...
Do a search for them... I believe there were some problems and converns with that service in the past that should be documented here and on AVS Forum. I was not comfortable with my near buying experience, but things may have changed.
I believe their store is... (ask them when calling) You can ask them to send you an in-store receipt with purchase when they ship it out to you. My friend who had bought from them first had a warranty period repair and recall taken care of and Pioneer honored it with no problems. This was a...
http://www.soundpros.com Good service and prices... and I personally know two other people (very close friends) other than myself who have bought from them. the first of which was almost 4 years ago.
wow...this post rose from the dead didn't it. ;)
I ended up having Rhinocables send me over a length that I needed. I tested various cabled and found theirs to be the best for the money for my needs.
I'll have to check once I'm at home, but I believe after you've run MCACC, you can go back into the OSD menu (On Screen Display) and go into speaker set up. There should be a sub settings option in there. As I'm not at home I'll have to post again when I can guide you through it...
I have the SAME receiver, and SAME Sub that you do...and had something to add. After running MCACC You may still notice that the 45TX underestimates the SPLs coming from the sub. You may need to adjust them according to your preferences. I had to pump up the volume a little on the LFE channel...
My wife and I caught a sneak preview of the movie on Sunday evening...and I have to say it's one of my all time favorites now! I was so surprised at how damned good this movie was. You guys have got to go see it when it comes out later this week. I'm usually not a fan of movies for Tom by Tom...
I knew he didn't direct it, but I figured if I put Morita in the subject line people would say "Que" and skip over it. I did mention that he produced it... well sort of in a round about way. ;) I wish I had an all region player... what do you use to watch them? I watched this HK version DVD...
oh... I didn't get a chance to see that short! :frowning: DAngit! The movie as a whole was funny, I really enjoyed it. :D In fact I enjoy almost every Miyazaki/Ghibli movie I see. There's just a special quality to the worlds that they create, and it really feels good to be a part of it for a...
Anyone else seen this? I had the opportunity to see it recently, when a friend rented it from a local import video store. It had a Dolby Digital and DTS track if I remember correctly. It was Soooo funny, and if you're a fan of anything directed or Produced by Hayao Miyazaki, you'll surely...
This was the worst movie I have EVER seen... oh my goodness... please let no one I know buy this. Seriously... I have painful memories of watching this horrible movie. So painful... however, it might have had alot to do with the timeframe in my life that I watched it. But I doubt it...
Coolest movie moment ever: SE Empire Strikes back first showing first day... Entire audience Raised arms and said "YAAAAAYYYYY" in unison when it was announced that the First Transport was away. It was the single most awesome disply of one way thinking I have witnessed. :D one of the worst...
another vote for a happy 45TX owner!!! I love it! As for where to buy online... www.soundpros.com That's where I bought mine, a friend of mine bought his 53TX, and a friend before bought his 33TX... so that's a solid 3-4 years of service I can personally attest to for price and...
I have a 45tx, but I think many of the features are a carry over from the 45 to the 53tx, give or take a few features, like the remote, and the USB connections. (there are a few more differences of course, but for the most part we are talking about very similar models.) anyway, I believe the...
John and Sean, I agree with you both on that it's possible for character's sake, but in the context of the movie and times it kind of gripes me since I believe this would not be a common thing, or even possibly not widely visible "expression". It's another cruise-ism that irks me, as well as...
here are some of my opinions from when I did my buying search. These are taken fromj older threads on the subject, but if you want a comparison between then two here's some rambling:
