Any word on the new Greatest Hits games? I'm champing at the bit to pick up Kingdom Hearts and Hitman 2, but I'm not seeing the new price reflected at the stores. I thought this was supposed to happen on the 17th.
Sorry, I'm not aboard the "all is well" bandwagon. The heavy-handed way this was handled, not to mention the inconsistent application of long-ignored rules by often-absent moderators, has soured my appreciation for this forum.
By "threadcrap" I believe he meant that your post had nothing to do with the topic in the title of the thread (kinda like this one). Perhaps you should start a thread of your own about Daytona and your hopes and dreams for it.
Nah, the darkness bothers me too. It's got nothing to do with being a game feature (what, I ducked into a cave to read the map?), and it does affect gameplay, particularly in a night map. Great game, bad bug.
There's usually a shelf of unsold games that no longer fit inside the glass case, often mixed in with Greatest Hits titles. As Glen said, there is also a Clearance shelf and I found Mad Maestro stashed with the discounted PC games. I often know the price (thanks to Glen) better than the...
The opened "new" box doesn't really bother me as the return policy for defective games from EB Games and Gamestop both seem pretty good (I've yet to have to avail myself of them). What bothers me are the damn stickers they slap on the opened boxes. I bought a copy of Fur Fighters for DC which...
In other words, the GameCube should be exactly like the Xbox. Only smaller. :) I don't expect Nintendo to abandon hardware (nor the US/EUR market), but they are certainly losing the third-party sales race and will likely continue to do so. Why don't they lower the prices of their games? The...
Everything I remember reading has said that Nintendo was making a profit on hardware sales, though it was probably not that big at the $149 price point. That profit will most likely disappear at $99, though if you're only selling 80,000 units a quarter, it's not that big of a loss. ;) One...
Good review, Ian. I've also got the Pelican and really like it. Please update us on the AirStyle, as I'm interested in picking one up (the Logitech's analog sticks are just way too floaty, though the wireless is spot-on). Another HTFer posted a negative review of the AirStyle here.
Am I the only person who dislikes all the complicated owner/franchise/coach additions to sports games? These games are getting too complicated to just pick-up-and-play for the casual sports gamer. I barely understand how to differentiate between passing and running plays, much less set the price...
