Im the same way I joined recently and already threw out the kenwood reciever for an onkyo. tossed the klh speakers for some RBh's. And dumped my old NEC sub for a new klipsch. but i can deffinetly tell the difference. Now I'm running out of money :)
Could splitting the two inputs make your sub not have as much punch? My sub says R and l/lfe I currently have my wire split into both. Does this reduce the quality and loudness?

I have my sub level set pretty high 8 out of 11. My sub lvl on my reciever is set to +5. Im not quite sure what refrence settings is? The sub sounds really good in Dolby Digital but seems very weak in pro logic II. Thanks again

I currently have my sub facing the wall to the right of my television. Should I A. put the sub flush up against the wall with the drivers facing it? or B. Leave some room between the sub and the wall? Also, would it work if i tilted the sub over and had the drivers facing the ground...
All my cables are properly hooked up. Both analog and the digital. I believe my roomate did something with the settings on the reciever because it was working before I left to work and when i got home it didnt. I wish I could figure this out... been dinkin around with it for 2 days now.
I have Digital cable through Time Warner and channels below 100 only come through on one speaker while channels above 100 come through on all 5. I just changed my set-up in my living room and the sound worked just fine before I moved everything around. Sound came through on all 5 speakers below...
