I don't think tweeters ever require a lot of power. There is nothing to move. Just think of what power source is used for so many annoying high pitched devices and how loud some of them are. And how long do batteries last in a portable stereo? Now imagine if the portable radio had a subwoofer...

For the ECM8000 you will need phantom-power since it is a condenser mic, a Behringer Eurorack MX02a is what I have. This is about the cheapest way I could find to get reasonable phantom-power.

If you think of your walls as mirrors, put the dampers anywhere you can see speakers. Also, don't forget to make dampers that handle as much of the spectrum as possible (Read: thicker the better and space off the wall as much as you can). Enjoy!

I haven't tried to BFD the bass shakers yet it is about middle on the project list. I would like to hear someones experience with it though. Overall it seems like there is no downside to it since one channel of the BFD is for the subs and the other is not doing anything.
