Now that I have almost finished setting my M&K 150 THX system with the 49TXi Pioneer AVR I want to buy a niece couple of speakers to use as the rear surrounds. M& K had suggest use the same SS150 but I think they're too much on price. What could be an excellent replacement with a good price?

Then what's going to happen to my new VSX 49TXi running a 4 Ohm M&K speakers? Would I run the warranty if I decide to play at high levels?

OK guys .You're right the M&K is the "no returnable" item on the package and it's the best deal I got on. I'll start searching for a different AVR that would handle the 4 Ohm. Any pros and cons between the B&K, Denon (?) and Sunfire?

Thanks Daniel for the tip. I'll be talking with the dealer and see what is going to be the best option. Maybe I should return my M&K and look for a different brand on the 6-8 Ohm range. I'll let you know. Thanks for all the answers.

Now that I decided to buy an Elite VSX-49TXi I wonder if I should drive the HD satellite signal trough the receiver and run just one Composite conection from the Receiver to the HD TV. In this case what will happen with the sound signal? Will I still able to get surround sound on some HD programs?

What about the advanced version of Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration Circuit (MCACC)on the Elite? Isn't it worthed the extra $$? I'm inclined to the 3803 and I already heard it and ir sounds great. But with some many extra features on the Elite I'm not sure yet.
