I have taken the advice of some readers on a previous thread, and I have decided to buy a new Region-Free DVD player with PAL/NTSC support. Unfortunately, due to the Christmas season, I am on a bit of a budget. I did find the Cyberhome ch-dvd 402 dvd player at a reasonable price of 99...

But I just bought the Daewoo, and I found a decent converter online for 40 bucks. So it'll work, right?

I have a Daewoo 3000GN, and it doesn't convert PAL/NTSC very well. I was wondering if I bought an external PAL/NTSC converter, would that clear the problem up? Or am I going to have to buy a new DVD player?
