    WinTV PVR-150 problems

I recently purchased and installed a WinTV PVR-150 (not MCE version), but am having problems with the driver install. The device shows up in Device Manager as "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II (26xxx)" but it has a yellow exclamation point, and the details say "Error Code 31". There is also a new...

HTPC newbie needs a few questions answered (please!)

Hi, I am contemplating turning one of my older PCs into an HTPC. It is a Dell Optiplex GX 240, Pentium 4 1.7 GHz, 400MHz FSB, with 768Mb PC133 SDRAM, and a 40Gb 7200 RPM HDD, and an ATI Rage Ultra 16mb graphics card. It is running Windows 2000 Professional. I have a spare nVidia GeForce 4...

Entry level HDTV - Panasonic PT-53WX42

Is there anything wrong with the PT-53WX42 ??? I am seeing it everywhere for much cheaper than other apparently comparable RPTVs. I am not a videophile, I just want a TV that looks great for not too much money.
