im thinking about buying a new HDTV and i need to know if DVI is important because ive been reading how HD DVD's use DVI and how DVI doesnt compress the information like component cables do. so i would just like to know if i should go for a tv with DVI?

Actually this speakers are really good. i bought 2 towers and 2 rears and wasn't sure if i made the right choice until i brought them home and hooked them up to my amp. And it sounded real great they are very clear and can be compared to energy speakers. So i think you should go with these...

i ve been thinking about getting a 6.1 reciever with EX and ES or should i get a better 5.1 reciever. does 6.1 really sound that much better?

i dont really beleive it but my firend said that i shouldnt buy the pioneer 811 because it is made by radio shack. this friend has been known to lie before so i dont trust him.

I am planing to set up a home theater in my new basement. I want a receiver that has DTS ES and Dolby Digital EX but I don't want it to cost so much. I am thinking about the HE100 or the VSX-D811S. I am leaning towards the 811 but I would like to know what you guys think I should get.
