I recently rented Rear Window and Vertigo mainly because they are two of Hitchcock's most highly regarded films. I could barely stay interested in either one. I know that they are classics and I know that they are considered two of the greatest films ever made, but they did very little for me.
Thanks guys, I just read an article on the D70 vs D100 vs D1x, and I was blown away by the feature set of the D70. It looks like it has all of the features and quality that I would be looking for and at a very attractive price.
I am going to be in the market for a digital slr soon and I was wondering why one would choose a D1x over a D100 when the D100 has more resolution (6.1 vs 5.1 megapixels)? I will be using it primarily for wedding photography.
In no particular order: Po'jamma People - Frank Zappa Stairway to Heaven - Led Zepplin Blackbird - The Beatles A Love Supreme - John Coltrane My Funny Valentine - Miles Davis Voodoo Chile - Jimi Hendrix The End - The Doors Dark Star - Grateful Dead The Boxer - Simon and Garfunkle...
I rented this from Netflix and it did not come as a flipper, just one sided with the DC version on it. I can't believe that I don't get to see both versions when renting this from Netflix!
I was looking at IMDB for Sling Blade and it lists the region 1 as DD 5.1. Netflix also lists it the same way, but all I get from my AV receiver is DPLII. Are the listings wrong or is it poorly flagged or what?
Get Ad-Aware and run it. The standard version is free. Also get Spybot and run it too. What Ad-Aware misses (and it don't miss much) Spybot will get. BTW, Spybot is free also. PS It is usually better to give a little more info in your thread subject line than just "please help".
Is this the same version of Outlook? If the versions are different you can sometimes run into this problem. Even if they are the same versions, if one was set to "corporate" and the other set to "internet" or vice versa, you can run into this problem.
Oops, thanks for the correction Gary, it is City on the Edge of Forever, not City on the Edge of Tomorrow. I guess my memory is not as good as it used to be.

My all time favorite ST episode has to be City on the Edge of Tomorrow. It had a real theatrical feel to it whereas most of the ST movies had more of a made for TV feel to them.

When I was a six or seven year old kid I remember going to a bad Japanese movie called The Mysterions or something like that. I cannot find any reference to it in the IMDB. Does anyone else remember this movie?

It may not be the best ST movie (I personally think The Wrath of Khan is the best) but the battle sequences at the end are some of the best that I have seen. A great workout for any surround system.
