I have a 2001FP, and i love it. even for gaming, the response time is low enough that there is no ghosting on fps.

I use TiVO on a 47 inch WS HDTV. The quality at the best setting is about equal to analog cable. Really doesnt bother me at all, and once you go TiVO, you will seriously wonder how you ever lived without it.

hmm, to be honest i have not noticed that. my center is placed above my monitor, which sits elevated 1 foot in front of me, and about 18 inches above. i have yet to hear a hiss and i play my games LOUD :) i do hear it if i place my ear next to it however.

i just pruchased the logitech Z-680's. My friend has the klip's and we both agree the logi's sound much much better. i love them. expecially for call of duty, etc..

the tv should not be able to tell the difference between the dvd or GC. my cube plugs into the back of my reciever via component, then i run a component from the reciever to the tv which covers my DVD/xbox/GC/ps2 connection for progressive scan. so yes, your reciever should pass it thru.

Hitachi 43 inch hdtv + gamecube + 6 hour sessions of metroid prime =no burn in. contrast is down to 30% or so. Just be careful.

yeah the analog (below 99) work great. its the digital channels that i get 0 audio. box is connected to video 1 s-video input, and i have an s-video going out to the tv. Im going go to play with the OSD now that i have a little sleep in me :) ill report back later. thanks for the tips!
