I think my current component cable is not able to handle 1080i properly, causing a slight yellow tint when I scale the output from my DVD player to 1080i should I get those ultra expensive Monster cables at Bestbuy? do those have enough bandwidth to support 1080i?

if it's the cable then the game would look weird in 480i/480p right? but all games look fine in those modes

I have a samsung HCM4215W and I'm using monster component cables and I have 1080i enabled in dashboard the problem is not that I don't see the output it's that there's a yellow hue overlay

just wondering if anyone else is having this problem whenever I'm playing the game in 1080i mode the there seems to be a light yellow hue covering the entire display then sometimes it'll be back to normal basically the display is switching between normal and yellow hue every few minutes...

yeah I have a JVC-502S and I set it to 16:9 auto mode so if it's an overscan issue with my TV what setting should I change in it? I have a samsung 4215HCW and I don't remember seeing an overscan option in the system menu thanks

I've noticed that all the movies I've been playing on my 16:9 HDTV have a small part chopped off on the left and right side no matter what the aspect ratio the movie is in, when it projects onto the screen it gets cut also since I'm running progressive scan, I can't change the aspect ratio on...

how does a OTA HD reciever work, can you just hook it up to any regular old antenna and it'll work and how's reception? do you get snow/distortion or a pristine image when in the right position, otherwise no image at all
