That rule was changed as of this year...madden 2004 no longer allows for a second kick. Also I've heard it mentioned that the rule was changed while watching a game..
I've had it lock up a couple of times on NFL2k3, but I think it might be just the dirty disk error. But yeah if it is locking up on every session then you need to return it.
Thanks for the response, I've got no problem with Sega covering their costs, but the matchmaking argument doesn't really work. We pay Microsoft for matchmaking. So unless Sega is constantly (ie montly) paying programers for new content (without charging us for that seperately, as is done in...
Perhaps I'm missing something having never played PS0 on the DC. Isn't it non-persistant? Ie like Diablo? Why the hell would anyone pay a service fee for that? Don't get me wrong I've played plenty of MMORPG's, AC, EQ(briefly), DAoC, and Earth and beyond (briefly), but you get alot more from...
I just started playing it a few days ago and like it so far. I've from alot of people that it gets really old after a month or two, but if so thats fine. Alot of entertainment can be had in that time. For me at least I think the next big thing is going to be SWG, though what I really want is the...
Sounds like a good idea, I've been avoiding playing NHL2k3 right now until they release a patch of some kind for online play. But if we can get a league night going that would be great. Id prefer any night other then Sat or Sun.
One thing I forgot to mention, insert after my second paragraph. After I start to pick apart my opponent (this assumes my line can hold up to their blitzing or I'm "on" that night) with the little passes, I find I can wait in the pocket and get the deep ball. Don't forget to go to the camera...
Only thing I can say is keep with it. The game is hard, has a tremendous learning curve, but that just makes it worth playing in my consideration. Too bad most ppl will never see that (basied on game sales). What works for me (passing wise) is to start the game concentrating on passing to my...
I just checked and your right, both my videocard and my soundcard are sharing IRQ 10. Unfortunatly my motherboard is pretty cheap, and I don't have a bios option to select IRQ's. I can't move the cards unfortunatly because I only have 2pci and one agp slot. It goes AGP(videocard), networkcard...
These are selling at newegg for $185 at newegg, they have the full sized pcb of the 4600 and use 128megs of 3.3ns ram. I bought off of agroa (the used swap place at arstechnica for $165). I'm using the newiest nvida drivers, the ones that came with the card were just old dets. Someone on...
I recently upgraded to a Albatron Geforce4 4200p Turbo. I haven't overclocked the card at all, so its at whatever it's default settings is. I can surf or use my computer fine, but when I go to play any games after a pretty much random period of time it will hard lock and I'll usually get looping...
I'm going to try, I have to start over with getting my xbox setup on live (had to reformat my computer). The first time it evolved quite a bit of work ( had to telnet the modem and convert it to a bridge) so I'm going to see if there is another way to get it working. If not I can always direct...
cool :)
I just played a guy and we were using different control schemes from the outset, so I'm thinking its either doing the sync trouble when you have the buttons rearranged OR when you have different sound options (like in NFL2k3). The guy I just got done playing was also using DDS.
I'm sorry Coldforged I must have missed it I would have loved to play with 'ya last night. Just out of curiosity did it say what I was doing at the time?
Anyone having trouble playing online? The first day I played everything was great! Then I took a couple of days off from playing online and started a season, made some adjustments to my settings etc. When I came back to online play I was getting sync errors on almost every game.
The only way...
Just wondering if anyone is intrested in getting a league going, this is the best hockey game I've ever played, perhaps the best sports game too. Just doing an interest check and seeing how many people might be interested.
I like using LT (San Diego, dont ask me to spell it lol), but I'm somewhat baised seeing as I was born and raised in San Diego. He's a good straight ahead rusher, and not a bad reciever out of the backfield. I'm hoping when Sega updates the rosters the bump his stats up a bit.
I couldn't agree with Mike more. The practice options in NFL2k3 are really good, running is hard but if you get to know your team and your back, you'll find out what kind of runner he is and should be able to run more effectively. I became some what decent running the football as I had...
Look me up for a game tonight, I have no offense whatsoever, but still should be fun. I'm waiting to hear back from my first week opponent still for the XBLFL.
I just got it today, and having played Ea's hockey game before this one, all I can say is 2k3 is awesome. Very glad I picked it up. Played only one game so far online and it went smoothly, no noticable lag at all.
