Your decision might also depend upon the recommended speaker setups . . . . for example, my Lexicon's Logic7 mode dictates 2 rears and 2 sides. However, DD-EX requires two rears and a rear center (if I'm correct). I don't know if HK's L7 mode is the same, but you should definitely check into it...
