John, I have mine hooked up to an interlaced player(don't have a progressive player yet). The one I checked in the store was hooked up to a progressive player. I am wondering if this could be the issue. John could you try it with a progressive player and let me know the results?

Well it looks like someone pushed the right hand three inches of the screen up a little. It seems to only be noticeable with 1:85:1 transfers. It only looks like it's the bars though(top and bottom). Other information in the picture itself looks to be straight.

Well it looks like I've narrowed it down to the Toshiba 32HF72 or the Samsung TXM3296. It's been hard to compare these sets as most stores have them hooked up using RF connections with a poor signal. I did not notice any severe geometry issues with either of these sets. I will be hooking up DVD...

How much difference would having the 3D Y/C filter have? The Samsung only has a std 3 line comb filter. The Toshiba is a little pricier but I can get 18 months free financing on the Toshiba. Is the Toshiba worth the extra money?

Hi All, I am trying to decide between the Hitachi 32UDX10S and the Samsung TXM3296HF. Which one would you buy? I will be using it with 60% Directv and 40% DVD. I like the Hitachi but it only has two rear inputs and only one component. What are peoples experience with these sets?
