"would you physically pick him up and haul him down the stairs" Is that too much to ask? I know it was implied that this would be a difficult task due to the stairs but this being a college library I'd imagine it's wheelchair accessible via ramp or elevator. And was giving him the taser...
What about live American Indians getting upset? I'm one and it's a little unsettling to me and not because of any bogus, haunted, poltergeist tripe. Would it be alright to put a strip mall over Gettysburg? Condos on old death camp sites? I guess the question is how long is long enough? "If...
I found this in the script but I don't know if it was an invention of Jeffery Boam or based on a real toast: CONTINUED: They exchange an old University Club toast, swinging their arms at one another and missing. Then HENRY flaps his arms and tugs his ears. HENRY "Genius of the...
I was in a bad one about a year ago in Arizona. We were traveling in my Father's RV when the car in front of us (looked like a Cadillac) decided to pass the dump truck that was ahead of him in a no-passing lane. Instantly we saw that he was going to hit another car (a Chevy Blazer) in oncoming...
Could it be X-The Unknown from '56? More information here: X - The Unknown Apparently the film features a nasty mud like substance that melts it's victims. Sounds interesting.
It looks like Magnificent Seven was the first out of the gate, at least for films. I found some info on a Broadway play starring Rod Steiger that was published in '59 that was an adaptation of Rashomon. Also Sidney Lumet directed a teleplay in 1960 of the Rashomon adaptation starring Ricardo...
Now that's a great idea. The only place you can go and not have to hear happy people and their damn clapping! We just sit around with our arms folded whilst complaining about everyone else. Thanks.
So I re-read my initial post from yesterday and thought; 'wow, what a bitter prick'! So let me apologize for going a tad overboard and explain what lead me write it in the first place. The other night I saw King Kong and loved it. It's one of those films that I was happy to see on the big...
Again. Unless you're at the opening premiere, special showing or something along those lines with the stars, filmmakers, or money men...please do not clap during the film I paid to see. I've heard and read long diatribes against those surly heathens that choose to annoy the majority of filmgoers...
Could be "Deadlier Than The Male" from '66. Does this ring a bell?
That's from a reader review on Amazon.com. Here's the imdb link. Deadlier Than The Male
I googled "knobsies keysies" and found a post from a TNT forum that was similiar to yours, asking about the same Fred MacMurray film. Someone responded with Murder, He Says from 1945. Here's the synopsis from imdb:
Does that sound like the right one?
I saw the last two at their 8:00 repeats. The Stone Phillips "Gravitas" showdown was really funny. And the whole look of the show with it's 'Faux-Fox' news look is dead on. I also like how he doesn't bring the guests out but runs over to them and makes it all about him. His off the cuff...
Here are some numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics:
"Median annual earnings of salaried actors were $23,470 in 2002. The middle 50 percent earned between $15,320 and $53,320. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $13,330, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $106,360. Median...
I know NASA has congratulated China's Space program on their accomplishment but I couldn't find anything about any attempt to monitor the mission. Glad to hear their mission was more successful than their foray into Photoshop. scroll down to the bottom 2 photos
Great episode, I hope they can keep it going. Along with the "The Office" I now have my favorite night of TV. I think my only problem with the show is Jamie Pressly, I wish they would have used their imaginations a little more on that casting.
That's too bad, you're missing one of the great...
Harvey Danger just made their new album, 'Little by Little', available for free with no DRM. Go here for the download page:Harvey Danger downloads And here for thier reasoning: Why we're releasing our album for free. Cool idea, I hope it works out for them. I'm downloading right now so...
I was kind of bored with it but I'll give it another shot because the cast is decent. I thought the whole "bad-boy chef" angle was lame and reminded me of hearing a male figure skater referred to in the same regard..."bad-boy of skating". Uh-oh, look out he don't play by the rules! And I know...
I actually don't think he ever really "reviewed" Magnolia proper, at least not in an official capacity. I think the comments in the link are what sparked the semi-contoversy. I could be wrong.
So did anyone catch "Stella" last night? I thought it was great which (as alluded to earlier) surely means cancellation. Don Mueller's surgery scene and the ending really had me laughing. Not to mention the surprising cameo. With "Reno 911" preceding it was a nice "State" flavored evening.
From the picture it sure looks like Blake is in a pirate ship. I suspect there will be a correction eventually. IMDB has an Adrian Hough playing Father Bobby Malone.
