I thought "Anamorphic Widescreen" means the picture morphs to fit your screen. If thats not the case I need a link to an explanation of Anamorphic Widescreen. I know about the higher aspect ratios leaving black bars, thats common sense... however an anamorphic DVD is supposed to eliminate...
I have a 42" Samsung 16x9 and a Samsung progressive scan dvd using component video out. For some reason LOTR SE in anamorphic is not fitting my screen 100% Thoughts?
There is new wireless security coming down the pipe based on military comsec equipment. Until then I would NEVER use a wireless connection for anything aside from internet traffic, and email of a non confidential nature. If one were to do any type of banking, credit card use, bill paying...
I was told to save the money on a LCD monitor... if you want good graphics at a good price find yourself a 20" HDTV to substitute as your monitor for a computer. Anyone have any advice?
I have been looking and looking for films on superbit... and frankly many of the ones releases are not that great. I recently picked up the Fith Element on Superbit and love it.
Is there any type of compilation on this site or on the net of the top 10 movies in regards to technical quality? I'm not talking the movie review (critics) more about picture quality/accuracy and sound quality (heavy use of surround speakers) Thanks in advance
on a Samsung you only have control over the blue-red ratio if you are in a custom settings config. So as you drop red out you are adding blue. Then you have the option of warm 1, warm 2, cool 1 and cool 2, normal, enhanced, and movie. Those settings drastically affect the red push or...

This is getting very frustrating fast...
The alternative is running S-Video :frowning:
But then you lose your progressive scan which is why I upgraded my old...

I have the Samsung 42" Widescreen(1080i) which normally lets me adjust my aspect ratio on the fly during DVD playback. Now, all of a sudden when I go to adjust...
