Well, that is of course a concern as well, but my main concern is pricing. FP lamps are $300-400, since I cannot find a source on the web to verify I wondered if anyone knew how much RP lamps for the technologies I mentioned are going for in the aftermarket.

Is there an aftermarket company that sells DLP, LCD, LCOS, rear projection television lamps? I am interested to know what the replacement cost for these lamps are before deciding on front projection vs rear projection.

Saurav Load shouldn't make a difference on SS amp, especially when one is measuring the voltage drop with no signal going into the input of the amp.

Most of the brands I feel are sensibly priced but still high end, are using the direct to consumer business model. These include Outlaw, Ascend, SVS, HSU, Onix, Acoustic Reality, etc.
