Regarding our "wish list" - I'd love to be able to leave all speakers on "small" for video applications (DVD,5.1 Digital Cable, XBOX, etc) and have the ability to keep my two front speakers as "large" for audio applications (stereo, DVD-A, etc).
Thanks everyone
(sorry I didn't post this on...
John, Dana has you turning against Rotel and your "happy" with the product. That sucks. The '66 rocks and it's upgradeable (for now...) so it will rock for three to five more years - that's simply awesome - and money well spent.
Dana - why are you freekin out, you haven't even expressed a need to upgrade?
Some early consumers had to because of distortion and hum - do you have these problems?
I will upgrade mine (v1.37) when the double-bass issue is resolved because I want a pure stereo experience with my Little Feat...
I think it's cool to have everything in one place, gives new 66'ers a chance to chronologicly get up to speed without giving them the feeling that they may be missing an important development
When hooked up to my Sony direct widescreen (K34XBR800), my JVC DVD player (xv-d721bk) looks better using the 525i component outputs than with the 525p component outputs. Do I need to do some serious tuning?
Greg,
I paid $2195 inclusive for a silver one last week - and am thrilled with my purchase. I'm looking for long-term enjoyment, so if you can live with the purchase price don't sweat the other dudes who paid less - you have to look at the *big* picture to see who really gets the bargain...
