Well I have reason to believe that my Outlaw 1050 is causing my hissing problem with my setup. Is there any recievers or preamps out there under $1100?
I have the Axiom QS8 rear surrounds placed on the Left and Right side of my wall in my current place. Problem is that I'm moving soon and the Left and Right walls in the condo are very far from each other. Is it possible to mount these speakers on the back wall about 5 inches away from the...

Rainbow audio components are one of the best components I've heard as well as arc audio amps. I love both the JL audio w7 and the idmax, but like the w7 a little more.
B&W= bright sounding (lots of detail), midrange is full, good bass extension, good soundstage. Dynaudio= Smoother high end, midrange sounds more natural, good bass extension, and a very good soundstage Overall, I feel the dynaudio sounds more natural. This is only my opinion.
I would get something with a little more resale value and some that he can keep. My friend got a Spector 38. specialfor $300 on sale which is a very nice electric and retails around $800.

Now you say the acurus is $400 and that's used. $900 for a brand new cinenova is a steal. Your right that the Cinenova and Acurus are different...
well coming from a tube user, I like warmer sounding amps such as the parasound, plinius, Musical Fidelity, Earthquake Cinenova, etc. IMHO, if I compared the acurus with a parasound, I would choose the parasound. The Cinenova for $900 is a great price and retails for $2500.
The Acurus is bright sounding amp. I would go with a Parasound or if you can find a deal on a Eartquake Cinenova grande brand new for $900 like my friend did.
