Craig, I have a vtf-2. The test cd they sent with it sounds like crap. I payed no attention to it. I plugged in my own cd's and most of them sound great. Mostly rock music. 70% rock 15% country 15% everything else.

Matt, if you go with the def tech's. If your budget will allow don't go with the procinema 80's like you mentioned. Step up to the 100's for about $150 more. My brother in law went that route and the 100's sound much better.

The Omnisats retail for $249 each. The setup at tweeter is 2frnts 2 rears 1 center. Should I go with a different center? Also the salesman did not seem to want to come off the price. Is $249 each a good price?

I listened to the omnisat line from Mirage at tweeter. They sounded pretty good for small speakers. They had a good full sound no matter where I was standing in the room. If anyone has some feedback on these speakers I would appreciate it.
