They don't offer a way to save the files. Also it didn't work with firefox for me, I had to use IE. It also makes you d/l a small player from Netflix. It seems to be a streaming format b/c the movie starts almost immediately after a little bit of caching.
I also just noticed this the other day. With a quick connection the quality is too bad, it's nothing I would want to put on a large tv but it's good enough for a window on a TV monitor. I also like how it's kind of a bonus. The way it works is, if you have $18 dollars a month for the 3 movies at...
I would recommend quicksilver, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quicksilver_(software). It allows you to search quickly and easily and do various other things like launch programs, browse your disk/itunes library, get word definitions, etc all using your keyboard. I just started using it the other...
Oh ok, I can only wonder what was in the original then. I loved the Thanksgiving trailer but my girlfriend, not so much. I think my favorite one was the first one, which I think was Rodriguez's. I also liked Rob Zombies, it has a surprising cameo.
I saw this last night at the Austin premiere where both directors and some of the actors/actresses showed up. I loved both movies. I'm a big fan of Tarantino's stuff and like some of Rodriguez's movies, but this was just pure fun. There was 1 trailer before Planet Terror and 3 (I think) before...
Magnepan MMG speakers, black socks with black trim. These have a great sound, very good imaging and detail, they sound amazing with acoustic music. One speakers sock is unstapled at the bottom, I had to remove the sock to fix a staple that had come loose in the panel but everything is fine now...
I loved when Randy was getting into the fights, he whips off his shirt "I'm right here, what do you wanna do, I'm right here!". Also when the cops were taking him to the car, every time "Oh, I thought this was America, I thought this was a free country" in a drunken slur. I can sympathize...
It's interesting to me how much Bullock seems to despise the mob mentality, when reason goes out the window. We saw this in the first episode, before he went to deadwood, refusing the give up the prisoner to the mob when he was to be hung anyway. The same happened in this episode with the...
I've got a 1.5gHz Celeron M and it runs all the stuff you listed just fine. It'll even play most last generation games (not new ones like HL2, Doom3) but thats what a desktop is for. I put in another 256mb stick to bring the total to 512 and i've never had a slowdown related to memory. If I...
I think it's because FMJ's are the only type of bullets allowed by the geneva convention so they can't use hollow points or other type of mushrooming bullets, but I may be wrong.
Does anyone know what the song playing at the end while they were in the Bing is? I've heard at least one Aphex Twin song on the Sopranos before and that's what it sounded like but i'm not sure.

The N24's match alright, but there is a slight difference. It doesn't bother me much since when I listen to music I just use 2 channel stereo, but if you use it a lot for HT you might consider the S26's. Good luck with everything. -Josh
I recently upgraded from a Yamaha to a H/K 230 and I love it. It's powering 2 S38's, an S-Center, and N24's for surrounds. I feel i've got plenty of headroom if i want to turn it up, never been limited on how loud I want to go. I listen to probably 80% music and 20% HT and it's great, sounds...
I've been a huge tool fan for years. I think Ænima is the best cd personally, the first part is great, but the last half of the album, Jimmy, Ænima, Pushit, and Third Eye are just amazing. I would definently recommend that and their live cd "Salival", they did an awesome cover of Led Zeppelin's...
I don't think that this is possible, or at least i've never heard of it. I know that diamond (i think it was) released a "gaming" 112k modem a while ago, that was essentially two 56k modems on the same card. You'd have to have two telephone lines, and somehow they'd sync and give you faster...

This show really reminds me of the shield. Does anyone know if the same people are involved? 1) They're both on FX (obvious) 2) They're both really fast paced, I remember watching the shield and thinking there was no way they could come up with new stuff. 3) They both have characters I...
Not much to add, but definently check out the Zoo, I've lived here my whole life and it's still fun everytime I go. My younger cousins love it (your daughters age). It'll probably be in the 40's - 60's (it has been the last week or so) so bring your tank top :D . Hope you have a great stay here...
Haha, i just saw the same thing. My guess is a bad choice of words, he didn't look like he knew what was goin on, then continued to talk about practicing on his saxamaphone.
Thanks for all the replies! I think i'm gonna go ahead and get the pr82, i've heard a lot of good things about it and need the coaxial digital out. Once again, thanks for the help, i'm very impressed with this forum, very quick responses and everyone seems to be pretty mature compared to the...
I'm thinking about getting a panasonic pr82, my old sony is starting to do weird things, like jump to different scenes in the middle of movies. If I hook up the dvd player with composite video cables and put it in progessive scan mode, then set the tv to do 16:9 or "squeeze", will it work or do...
