I have 2 pairs of 602s3 for my fronts and surrounds. A pair of LCR 600s3 for the center and rear. Also a ASW 650 for the sub. I agree with Daniel in that the 602.5 is not great. Either get the 602 or the 603. The 602.5 does not give you any significant improvement.

I am currently running 602s for the fronts and surrounds and a pair of LCR 600s for the center and rear. I do not regret going to the larger center for a second. My dealer told me that they even stopped pairing the 602s with the LCR 60s because the LCR 600 is a better match.

Since we are all fans of the 805, I had the opportunity to listen to the signature 805 a couple of times. Talk about an awesome speaker!

Michael, Get the Denon 3803. I think it is the best receiver you can buy for that price point. The 3803 will pass a HD signal through its component output at 100hz and will upconvert any analog video signal input to component video. Good Luck Herman S

I have the 602 S3s as well and I agree they sound and look awesome with the covers off. I keep them on because I do not want to risk damaging them. I use the B&W STAV 601 20" stands that cost me $90 a pair. They go well and I feel that it was a reasonable price.

I have the Samsung TS 160 and I leave it on 1080i. I do not have to adjust the switch when watching non HDTV programming. I've had my box for a little less than a month and I love it. Great user interface, program guide, HDTV quality is awesome and it doesn't run too hot.

Try both. If you can't tell the difference from connecting straight to the TV or to the receiver, then I say go with the receiver. It is a lot more convenient. Just my 2 cents.
