Robot Chicken: Season 1 purchased several weeks ago at Wal-Mart. Very funny animated series from Cartoon Network. It was created by Seth Green who played Oz on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Well, I finally finished watching season 2 of Buffy several days ago & it was an excellent season. I've watched a few episodes from season 3 on from my Buffy DVD collection & the episodes really do get better. I still have seasons 3,4,5,6,7 left to watch but Buffy is one show where you feel for...
Well, I've been in the DVD market since July 2000, that was when I purchased my 1ST DVD player. Back then, there weren't too many TV shows on DVD but look at it now. Nowadays, we have many TV shows on DVD & more & more of them are on the way.
Well, I got my complete Buffy collection thru the mail on Saturday August 19,2006. I've only watched the 1st season & most of the second season. I've also seen season 6 (episodes (on FX) from Normal Again upto Grave with the exception of Two To Go) & season 7 (On FX) (episodes from Lessons upto...
Unforuntely, that is the way TV has been over the past several years. Cutting several minutes out of syndicated episodes just to show more commericals. You can see how far we have come by checking out certain episodes of certain chows. For example, you average Buffy episode (original broadcast...
Well, I'll have to go with Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I ordered the complete collection last week & it arrived yesterday afternoon. Big & Bulky is my nickname for it considering that the collection that I got is the original 7 season DVD releases.
I took the quiz and it says I'm buffy. It's a fun little joke quiz. I have to agree with you about Xander, he didn't have powers like Buffy who was powerful or Willow who had magic but he was still able to help the group.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer Seasons 1-7 boxed set used for about $162 at Amazon.com .
Buffy seasons 1-7 boxed set arrived during the afternoon of Saturday August 19,2006.
I wasn't a fan of BTVS in the beginning. I'm not sure if I even watched a Buffy episode during it's 7 season run, I believe that I probably did but I have a bad memory & can't remember. More & more people are getting into Buffy espically since all 7 seasons are on DVD & FX is still showing...
I gotta agree there. I have the Buffy movie from 1992 & it is an ok movie but & I also own Season 1 (purchased 2 yrs ago at Circuit City) & I just ordered a used copy of the Buffy Collection which has seasons 1-7 from Amazon.com Marketplace. The movie & TV show, while they share the same name...
Well, it is probably a re-issue of the previous release because the cover art at DDD & Amazon.com looks exactly like the original DVD release which was released in 2000.
Well, some people including me believes that Sony probably paid off Best Buy to not sell HD-DVD players. There was a good story online at http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=691699 from someone who mentioned about how Best Buy employees are forcing Blu-Ray on people. If Sony is...
I don't own a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player but I read on many sites about the problems with Blu-Ray. Sony used MPEG-2 compression which is an older compression used mainly on DVD's while HD-DVD's use VC-1 (created my Microsoft) which is a newer compression geared toward HD video.
I don't think that any of the HD-DVD's will support SACD since Sony created SACD. SACD might appear on a Blu-Ray player but I'm not sure if it appear on an HD-DVD player.
Well, the thing holding me back right now is that we have 2 different competing formats which are HD-DVD & Blu-Ray. I'm hearing that HD-DVD has the better picture quality than Blu-Ray but I'm not really going to purchase any of these formats until there is a winner. With DVD, it was a...
I forgot to post this but about 1-2 months ago, I picked up The Best Of Gallagher: Volume 1 from the Wal-Mart bargain bin.
This DVD contains 2 of Gallagher's stand-up comedy TV shows.
This morning, after work (between 4:00 am & 4:30 am), I went to
Wal-Mart to see what they were selling this week & I purchased 1 TV on
DVD which is:
Beavis & Butt-Head Volume 1: The Mike Judge Collection.
My local Wal-Mart is selling the Friends Season releases for about $20 each so you...
The case with WKRP is that WKRP has so many shows which appears during the season run which leads to a rights nightmare. WKRP has lots of music because during the old days of TV, the recording industry had a rule which stated that if you recorded your shows on videotape instead of film, you get...
Mark Talmadge has a valid point but as Katherine_K pointed out, not all artists owns the rights to their songs. In fact, the rights to most songs used in TV shows such as The Wonder Years are owned by the record companies & not the artists.
Same for me. It looks like Lion's Gate refuses to get the message. As Juan Books mentioned, we will have to add Lion's Gate to the list of companies who are our enemies. No ALF sales for me.
Well, The Archies & Sabrina, The Teenage Witch do have a DVD release but unfortuntely, they are a compilation disc which contains only a few episodes. Archies has one DVD & Sabrina has one DVD.
I believe that you might be referring to the show called Out Of This World. Was the daughter able to stop time by putting 2 fingers together? If she was able to stop time then the show would be the one called Out Of This World.
