Because they probably want to milk as much money as they can from the DVD releases. At first they will release the whole show in volumes of 2 episoded per release, and then after sometime the box set will come which will be cheaper. The same happened with the Farscape DVD releases.

True. However, the Sentinels plot and the story surrounding how they came to be is whats really important IMO. And I would have liked them to include the story in the Sequal. If I remember correctly the Sentinels were commisioned to fight the Mutants.

Yes it does look quite good. However, I remember that that after the release of X-Men the people who would be incharge of making X-Men 2 said in an interview that the Sentinels would be in the second movie. I didn't see any in the Trailer but hopefully the Sentinels will still be in the movie...

Well i saw it on Friday and it wasn't that bad. It had its moments but nothing great. I did like the ending though. Unless you are a total Eddie Murphy fan, have some free time, and money to waste don't bother with this movie.
