i ordered the 325 today and am very glad that i got in. this will replace a 320 that is less than 7 months old but for the price i couldn't pass this up.
I am fairly new to the HT stuff. Had HITB before but this is my first real setup. HK AVR-320 JBL NSP1 JBL PB-12 I have setup the receiver. Gone through the OSD and set the speakers to large/small. Done the EZ Setup but it just seems to me that the sound is weak in any mode. I dont get...
I just finished setting mine up and noticed that I had to turn it up pretty high to get decent sound either playing a cd or watching tv in logic 7 and DPII. Only sounds good from -30 dbs down. What gives...I thought it had more power than that. I have NSP1 so the 320 should easily power it.
Fry's still has these for $299. Picked 1 up today and they have limited stock. Fry's is able 40 mins from where I live and so I went to Circuit City to pricematch it but the guy called up Fry's and lied to me that Fry's doesn't have any in stock even though I called Fry's an hour before he did...
Is it still $299 at Fry's. Man, I don't visit the site for 2 weeks and this happens. I have the NSP1 on an old Kenwood receiver and was going to buy the 1803 but for $299, the 320 is a steal.
I too have been eagerly waiting the arrival of the 1803 but now that it has been released I am a little disappointed. I guess I expected more similar specs to the 2802. The OSD and no pre-outs are the two big ones. Although the remote has improved. I listened to one at my local goodguys but...
The receiver I have been patiently waiting for is available at goodguys.com for $450 shipped and no taxes(after 10% off). Pretty good price, I wouldn't expect to find it for much less when it hits the streets. The receiver is suppose to ship on or about 09/11. I will probably order one after...
The 1803 has specs similar to the 2802. I was at goodguys yesterday and the guy checked his system telling me that they are scheduled to be in on 9/11 and to preorder. But I called crutchfield and they dont have it in their system yet. I was told that it should be soon. I spoke with a rep from...
I was at my local goodguys today and the 1803 is suppose to arrive on September 11. Price is $499. He said I should preorder but I didn't want to pay today.
Some people are saying Aug/Sept. I called and spoke with a Denon rep and he said in their computers it is scheduled for Sept but in maybe early Oct before it hits the stores. I really want a new receiver too and getting impatient on the wait.
I just talked to a Denon CSR and they are expecting the 1803 in September. He didn’t have any info on whether it was early or late September but he said expect them in stores by the beginning of October. I am going to try and hold off till then unless something comparable in price/quality...
The 3802 is definitely out of my price range so hopefully the 1803 comes out soon. Any other suggestions on a comparable receiver for $350. My speakers are dying to be used.
I went to Bestbuy and listened to the N24, N26, and S26. Without a sub, the N24 are lacking. The N26 and S26 sounded so much fuller than the N24. Once you hear the other speakers, it is hard to accept just the N24 but I will probably go the sub route first.
Thanks Phil, very helpful. Much appreciated. So I will stick with the N24's first and get a sub. Been looking at the PB10 on ebay directly from Harmon. They seem to go for about $150 shipping included. They are remanufactured but carry the full warranty. What do you guys think.
I am getting the NSP1 and looking to replace the front speakers. Which would be better the N28 or S26. They are both around $100 so price is really going to be a factor. I don't have a sub yet. Would it be more wise to keep the N24 and get a sub first. Which are better for music.
