You should hear the entire song David. The lyrics have zero to do with James Bond. Instead Madonna has dedicated the Bond theme to herself. All through the song she declares how enlightened and indestructible she thinks she is. The most ironic part are the lyrics "I'm going to destroy my ego."...
Sorry Travis, it sounds like you got screwed. Unless someone can offer proof that the director prefers "IT" in widescreen, then this DVD is P&S in my book. The edits are also uncalled for unless there is proof the director wanted the cuts.
How funny! With the coming of HDTV we will have cropped 2.35 and 1.33 movies. Modified to fit our spiffy new 1.78 monitors. Who could ask for anything more?
Why is the black level so bad on this picture? There isn't a speck of dust or a scratch on the transfer but the picture looks like someone cranked the brightness up about ten notches too high. Normally I'd just turn the brightness down to compensate but that darkens to the point where much...
Chris, I'm was making a comment on the cost of their DVD player. If you'll read my entire message you will see I make no opinion of the sound quality of the speakers in question. If you think 500 dollars is a reasonable cost for a DVD player without progressive scan or component connections then...
It is the Bose 3-2-1 speakers, the 5.1 simulation "video stage" decoder and the sub without the DVD player. It runs for 500 dollars which is exactly half the price of the 3-2-1. I can't comment on the sound quality but it amazes me that BOSE is charging 500 dollars more for a DVD player that...
According to the official website says this movie has a completely different ending then the original. That can only mean one thing. "Hollywood ending" I liked Snatch but I think I'm going to skip Guy Ritchies latest.
If you want to watch all the episodes at one time just program your DVD player to play each title on the disk. Ex: title one = episode one, etc. It only takes a few seconds to do this.
I've seen worse movies but that doesn't make this one good. It had a made for TV movie style plot. The ending caused my eyes to roll. Just too much corn and cliche' for my taste. I give the movie a rating of "mediocre".
The IMDB just posted a response from Madonna saying the movie is still being released in October. I don't know why any studio would bother doing test screenings and other market research for a film like this. How can you make a movie like Swept Away into a crowd pleasing flick that will rake in...
I guess I shouldn't have posted my employers name but I did it so potential customers who come across this thread will know how the card works if they buy it. I'm not a saint by any means but I'd hate to be scammed if I were a customer.
No there is no fine print on the card other than the part about the 1.50 non usage fee after a year of non use. There is nothing stating the policy can or could be changed. The fine print just makes what they are doing seem all the more illegal to me. I just don't understand how a company can do...
No this card gets deactivated after 30 days if you don't use it. The card specifically states on the back that after a year you can still use the card but will be charge and monthly 1.50 no use service fee. My question is, are you allowed to tell a customer that a card never gets deactivated and...
One of my jobs is for a company called Movie Gallery. They have a product called a discount rental card. It costs 19.99 but is worth 27.00 in rentals. There is also a 50.00 card that is worth 75.00 in rentals. The deal is that the card will never expire and you use it until the balance is zero...
I could careless how bad the job market is, this payment thing is a hastle! Here's a link to comcheks website for anyone who is interested. I wonder how much these companies pay for this service?

My company just switched to a new employee payment program. It's call comcheck. Instead of getting a paycheck on payday you go to an ATM machine and withdraw your wages for a plastic card they issue you. You then take the cash and deposit it or spend it as you wish. You can also use the card as...
