Hi all, I my home theater, we have 4 powered recliners. For movie nights with friends, we need more seating. I would love to find the ability to create another row of relatively comfortable seating in front of the recliners. This is a basement, so there is not enough ceiling height to...
I received my bluetooth to IR converter in the mail yesterday when I got home.
I installed it in about a minute and my Harmony can now control the PS3 fully. Thank god :)
The controller now stays by the PS3 only to be used for games.
It functions as a remote control but it is hardly ideal.
The best bet I think is to simply purchase an IR to BT converter and use your universal remote to control the DVD player. You can get the converter for roughly the same price as the Bluetooth PS3 remote.
Here is the one I purchased (I...
ok this sounds exactly like what happened to me. I will shut off the controller from now on. Thank you!
As a side note, is it harmful to leave the PS3 always on?
I just received my PS3 (40G), late last week.
So far I have been EXTREMELY pleased with it, for both upscaling and Blu Ray.
I have only run into one problem that I need some help with.
I am still awaiting my bluetooth to IR converter in the mail so I am stuck with using the controller to...
Back in 1999, I purchased the wonderful (at its time) Toshiba TW56X81 rear projection 56" wide screen TV and also purchased a progressive scan DVD player to pair with it. Even before any run time or calibration, there was a large "wow" factor for me when I plugged in The Matrix in how much...
jesus, I have had a wide screen set since 1999 and some of these answers even made me scratch my head :) As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so go here and educate yourself, its much simpler than it originally sounds. Widescreen Advocate > Advanced Widescreen/OAR Primer
I need some help. I own a Toshiba TW56X81 HD ready rear projection 16:9 TV that I bought back in 1999. My wife and I have decided to upgrade to a Sony Bravia SXRD KDS-60A3000 60" 1080p Rear Projection HDTV and a PS3, However, the wifey wants to have a plan as to how we are going to get...
awesome! I was looking into this Blu Ray player. It looks like it should output audio on HDMI and the optical at the same time. I just hope there is no lip sync issues. Sony Blu Ray Player
Today from my SD-DVD player I hook my component cables directly from the DVD player to the TV and an optical audio cable from the DVD player to the receiver. My receiver does not support HDMI but my TV does. Will I be able to hook HDMI from Blu Ray to TV and another audio out from Blu Ray to...
I didn't know this. Are there 3 versions of Pegasus? a) The "shortened" syndicated length version on 2.0 for a 1 hour time block b) The original extended episode that was broadcast over 90 minutes c) And an extended extended episode on 2.5? Andy
One group of shelves is all for TV (in alphabetical order) One cabinet is all for movies (in alphabetical order) One stand alone shelf is for all things Star Trek One stand alone shelf is for the nicest looking box sets I have
While this is true about the box office, it is certainly not true about the rental side of the business. Terminator was one of the largest successes on VHS. While people missed the movie in the theaters, it was later watched by many many many more people on video, much the same way Austin...
This is how I would watch them if I were a first time viewer or if you haven't watched in a long time. Babylon 5 1) The Gathering - Pilot 2) Season 1 3) Season 2 4) Season 3 5) Season 4 Episodes 1-8 6) Third Space - Movie 7) Season 4 Episodes 9-22 8) In the Beginning...
Which is roughly the beginning of Season 5 which was 2261? And Crusade started in ~2267? And speaking of Crusade, was there a passing reference to the plague on Earth? Thanks
Can someone set the exact time frame of these stories in the B5 Universe in terms of both end of Season 5 and Crusade? I have read three different time frames in this thread about the Sheridan-Galen tale and I am getting confused.
I am probably not the only one, but if they have the ability to finish off the Crusade story line to some degree, I will immediately purchase the Crusade DVD set.
This is from an interview on SciFi.com and seems to exactky what Joe mentioned JMS wanted to do ================================================== ======= In the ensuing years, Babylon 5 stalwarts Andreas Katsulas and Richard Biggs have both passed away. How is their absence dealt with...
I know they plan to handle the G'Kar and Franklin deaths some how in lost tales in a delicate way. Does anyone know if or how they intend to acknowledge Crusade, especially with Galen in this new DVD?
Before Season 3 started, their were a series of ten short clips (about a 2-3 minutes each) that helped bridge the end of season 2.5 to the beginning of season 3 that were shown on scifi.com. Does anyone know if or think these will be included in the season 3 set?
