I just upgraded my speaker system so some of my previous toys are for sale. The subwoofer is one year old and has been lightly used in my home theater. There are no scratches to the gloss finish, no chips, nicks, dents, or dings. This unit has dual 10" woofers power by a 165W RMS(250W...

    Mordaunt-Short

My 5.1 HT system consist of four of the 902's with the 905 center speaker powered by an Onkyo TXDS797, MIT T2's on the fronts. Overall I am pleased with the MS speakers, I feel that they are a good value at their price point.

32 inch HDTV-ready set choices - what would you pick?

The XBR 450 is discontinued. I would look into the new Sony KV32HS500 It has DVI and is $500 less than the XBR. Picture quality is nearly the same as the XBR, just a little more red. Red push is common on Sony's.

where to buy energy take 5.2's online?

I am not sure how far you are from Scranton, PA but there is a shop called Domani Entertainment that carries Energy speakers. After reading dozens of reviews on the Take 5.1 I located this shop and decided to buy them. When I went to the shop to listen to them I was disappointed with them...

The straight dope on Componant *vs* S-Video on a 27" VVEGA.

Well I have personally done comparisons with this. A 27" Wega using the sony dvps360 dvd player. The S-video cable was a Monster "video 3", the component cable was a Monster Cable "video 2". I saw very little difference if any at all on this tv. I am sure most people will agree that there is...

    HELP XBR450 prob

I have heard of few problems with this model, nor the original XBR400 HD moniter. I am sorry to hear about your luck but these kind of things do happen. If you purchased in 09/01 you are still covered unders Sony's defect warranty(one year parts and labor) to locate a Sony authorized repair...

You've got $300-500 to spend on a T.V. what do you do?

I would recommend the Sony 27" Wega, model KV27FS13. I personally look at the Panasonic and the Sony flat screens side by side almost everyday. In my personal opinion the color of the Panasonic's are way too rich, especially the reds(this is a problem on nearly all of there tube tv's...
