thank you for your help. iran an rca cable from the receiver's subwoofer out to rca jack line in of the sub woofer.the sub woofer does not appear to be putting out anything. shouldn't i be hearing a hiss or a hum or something? does the speker wire connection is more reliable? thanks again.
