    Convergence or focus?

I guess its possible that its the source, but I wasnt thinking so because it happens on more than one source (i.e. baseball on YESHD, FoxHD, etc). To some extent it happens on SD sources too, but its not as obvious because of the lack of resolution. -Chris

Direct input access? How can any TV today not have it???

A BestBuy/Circuit City type place might not be willing to help, but maybe a Tweeter/HifiBuys sort of place might pull a Pronto out for you and try to program some codes. Not really sure. Even if you broke down and got a JP1 remote (after you got the TV) they are so extendable even a...

Direct input access? How can any TV today not have it???

Do a google search for "JP1 Remote". If you get a JP1 capable remote and the interface to connect it to your PC, you can upload a macro that allows you to run thru every "advanced code" that might work with the TV. Thats how I was able to find the discrete input codes on my Mits 65819. The...

    Convergence or focus?

For the past few months or so, my Mits 65819 seems to be showing the convergence as a little off, but only on "wide angle" shots (i.e. close ups look fine, but as a camera zooms out on something like a baseball game, the objects furthest away seem to have some red and blue convergence...

    LCD decisions....

Looking for a 32" LCD for my bedroom. "Narrowed" it down to several models (Panny 32LX50, Sammy 328W, and Sharp 32GA5U). I was wondering what everyones opinions on these models (or the brands in general) are. I was dead set on the Sharp, but then I saw the Panny and Sammy with them, and...

    Pixellation on Mits 55819

Try running two outputs into the Mits from the DVD player.......one being the one where you have the issue now, the other being a different format (i.e. the current one + Svideo and/or composite), then when it happens flip to the other inputs to see if it happens there. I believe the...

    Mits, RPTV and Macro's?

If you have a universal remote that allows you to program "advanced codes" onto certain buttons, the advanced codes for discrete Mits inputs have been discovered. Check out http://www.hifi-remote.com/codes2/TV_0150.shtml and the JP1 group on yahoo! groups (groups.yahoo.com). Ive...

    Panasonic CP72 MX codes?

In the files section of www.remotecentral.com someone has an RP-56 setup for that remote. My guess is that you can use most of those codes, and then just learn the "changer oriented" codes (like disc swap, disc +, disc -, etc.). -Chris

    panasonic rp82 vs rp91

Has anyone confirmed that the CP-72 changer is the same internally as the RP-82 single disc? Panny has a 30.00 rebate on all their changers, so it would be like getting 5 single disc RP82's for about 200 bux ;) Thanks!! -Chris

    Flickering/throbbing in A Beautiful Mind

Just watched A Beautiful Mind two nights ago on my Gregg-abrated Mits 65819........all I can say is WOW. For once, seeing scenes with intended color "masking" I knew it was intended, not because of red push on my TV. Very nice experience, except for one issue that I noticed. In some scenes...
