I am in the market for an overhead video console for a 2004 chevy suburban. I would like it to play DVDs and I would like it to be capable to play the audio through the car sound system. Any help in the right direction would be appreciated.
What is the difference of running my subwoofer through my Panny XP-30(that has bass management), or through my Yamaha receiver. I have the sub running through my receiver so I can use the sub with all my components, not just the DVD player. Your Thoughts.

Something that just came to me. Many DVD's come with the THX-Optimizer. Does the viewer need to calibrate the t.v. using the THX-Optimizer for each disc, or is it the same for all DVD's? For example, if i calibrate using the THX-Optimizer on the Monster's Inc. disc, do i need to recalibrate when...
I have noticed that the new reciever/amps that are out have component video hookups. Wouldn't running comp. inputs from the DVD to the reciever, then to the t.v. reduce the quality? any thoughts?
