Thanks for the info. So you have to go into the service mode to enable it?? Wonder why it's not enabled by default?? Anyway, glad to hear it *does* have the squeeze mode. I checked on the Amazon site and it shows that model to be discontinued. When did you buy yours?? EB

Why include this "Sound Effects Only" track in the first place, if it's included in the regular DD 5.1 track. Who wants to watch the movie listening to only the sound effects. Seems like a waste of space to me and could have been left out to make room for the FULL movie without the layer...

Hey again, Talked with Samsung this morning to ask about this model and the new TXM2792F replacement for the very popular TXL2791F. Wanted to know when the TXM will be available and if there is a 32" or 36" model in this series in the works. They said they do not get any "advance information"...

Thanks for the info. I hope the 2792 is considered a "higher end" model than the 2790 and includes this feature on the remote. Now if I could just find one where I am, I'd be set...no pun intended! EB
