It's always impressive to me how people that don't like apple products are mad that they are not innovating, but don't hold their preferred brand of phone to the same standard.
I have a fingerprint scanner on my laptop. It does nothing. No one cares. The computer is a POS. Fingerprint...
Wasn't the old Crappy GPS/bundle offered by dealers a $2000 option already? I know I paid something along those lines for in car navigation package, and it's a POS. I use google maps or apple when I need nav.
Enjoyed this episode. Not enjoying the Governor story line any longer. Hoping it wraps up soon and use the last 3-4 episodes of the season to set up next season.
They only made 13.1 Billion. We should all sell. The reality is there are only so many people that can own current Apple products. Current refreshes might not make people go rebuy a product they just bought 8 months ago. This a problem all tech companies face. Not really a problem when you make...
Do people actually use Siri? I mean i've had for a few weeks and seems more of a gimick, all voice assistants seem that way. I can do for myself much faster by doing my own searches. Only time I've really used it is when driving and I can't type the text. That is helpful.
At the end of the day, the originals are still great. If the new movies suck, then we don't have to watch them anymore. The creation of new movies does not mean you can't still enjoy the old ones. That's the attitude I'm taking anyway.
As this is coming from someone that saw TPM at midnight...
"I tire of Hollywood dicatating what we want.
How about we dictate what Hollywood should provide us?"
I already do this. I'm only going to the movie theater once or twice a year and have not bought a DVD/Bluray in 2 years.
The appeal of the mini is you don't want a full sized iPad and you'd rather spend $100 more to NOT get a Kindle Fire. My Fiance has a Kindle Fire, she can keep it. I'd use my iPhone 5 over it any day of the week. I like the mini because I prefer the size and weight to the iPad.
That being...
I'd love a Mini. 25% thinner, 50% lighter, and same resolution as the iPad. I'd much prefer an 8" tablet over the iPad 2 I currently own. But not going to run out and buy one.
The iMacs look great. Have not seen much on them except that edge to edge screen.
Don't have mine yet but did walk in the apple store when we were in the mall this weekend. For someone that's been using the 3.5" screen for 4 years, the larger screen looks so much better. Videos, apps, it was nice. And I could not believe how light it was. I don't want to put a case on it...
I have iOS 6 and it's working fine. Of teh 5-6 people I know that have it now none of them have had this issue. I'm sure they will find a solution though.
I did a test last night on the maps app. Fiance didn't know anything was different except that the directions now looked better. I know it's exploding everywhere that the "maps" sucks, and I'm not defending them giving us a lesser product, but I still think the average joe schmo will not even...
As accurate as the leaks for the iPhone 5 were, I don't know why anyone wouldn't believe a mini iPad is coming.
I wish they would make the back black and not that ugly silver.
