I thought it was a good idea to change Superman's costume colour. Now the flying scenes have Superman's costume the colour it was supposed to be: blue.
The more I think about it, the more I think that I had to manually set my Toshiba 3109 to subtitle track 4 (while the movie was playing) and set that subtitle track to "on" in order to get rid of the icon.
This issue was a common problem for Toshiba players when the disc first came out. No matter what you selected in the features menu, the icon would always show up unless you manually set one of the subtitle tracks to off/on (I can't remember which one). I know there were a number of posts...
After the first time I watched "Three Men and Adena" I felt that I had seen the best hour of television that I would ever see. That episode also made me go out and buy David Simon's book and read it cover to cover.
One thing to note is that many times Japanese dialogue is not always in sync with lip movement because it's not a priority for the animators (unlike in North America). Maybe Disney tried to sync up the lip movements to the Japanese dialogue and in doing so, put the sound effects out of sync...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the red disc version the first press run and the other pressings after that were regular coloured? I've got the blood red disc. :)
