I'd like to announce the newest minion in the domain, my daughter Erin. She was born on Wednesday. Both she and her mom are doing well. Not sure I can always say the same for dad ;) We should all be home on Saturday, ready to start "training" (hers or ours, I'm not entire sure) I just...
I made the "mistake" of mentioning the Hello Kitty thing to my wife, whose eyes lit up with the thought of using our soon-to-be daughter in the same way. ;-) This week is just gonna be gits:sac vol. 4 and sky captain (not anime just one I like)
Congratulations Alanna! My wife and I are expecting our first (a little girl, who will be brought over the dark side as quickly as possible so Johns minions in NM will continue to grow ;-) in april. Stacy, I've heard that it isn't uncommon for some women to not know they're pregnant.
Doug, I'm 4 discs into Texhnolyze and so far I'll give it a :emoji_thumbsup: there's a lot going on and it does get revealed as the show goes on. It's been an interesting trip. I can't wait to see how it ends up. like I said, though, so far I think its worth a :emoji_thumbsup:
No, its more like they are getting tougher to recruit cause John has too much discipline. ;-) *Lightsaber ON* - Just in case I've got Kiddy Grade Vol. 6 on deck. I need to stay out of my usual stores this week, unless I want to take them to Vegas with me next week... (a trip for work)...
No kidding James, I love that episode.
Hopefully, we'll finally get it on our favorite shiny addic....er, discs. That is assuming Buena Vista does discover they have it now and decide to do something with it... (Thanks for that tidbit Dave)
Shoot. I wish it was a little more local. Not sure I want to drive up to Santa Fe after work on a Friday. It could be worse, I suppose Anyway, thanks for the info Tony.
Have I missed 'saber practice again John? I may be forced to resign as a minion if this keeps up :D Glad to hear TeXhnolyze starts to pick up more story. I was a little worried but watching anyway...
I don't know what's going on, but I found the Gungrave box at my local Best Buy on Saturday. Granted it was the last one.... Maybe someone's evil minions have been busy once more....;)
I was sorting dvds after finally getting our rack in place and was kinda surprised to find out that we still have two copies of Ghostbusters. My wife and I bought the movie before we got married. I had completely forgotten about it.
I guess it depends on the series. Most of the time I take a show in one disk at a time. If I've finished purchasing it, I might drop it down to an episode or two at night. A few times I've gone on marathons, but that's rare. (My wife can put a stop to my plans quickly ;-)
I ordered Yukikaze late on Saturday night from DVD Empire, who had it in stock, and it arrived today. Unfortunately they don't have it any more. (states its "on order") At the very least I can confirm that it does indeed exist at this point. Maybe I'll get to sit down this weekend and check...
Dave, to respond to your off topic comment, yes. I am trying to watch B5 S3 while I consume some Futurama and Dai Guard. It gets tough to pick which one to watch. ;)
And to think I was happy that they were even going to release it in the first place. Then this. I want this movie, but there is no way I'm buying a FULLSCREEN copy. (I have enough of those on video tapes) Sorry MGM, I too will have to pass until this is done right. At least I can still sit...
Speaking strictly for myself, I don't mind putting my collection out there for others to see (as evidenced in my signature below). I'm sure I have more than a few that most people would just have to sit there and scratch their heads over, but I don't worry about it. (Although there are a couple...
It's not out Gary. they announced it for mid July (I believe). I'm hoping this isn't P&S, but if it is, this is one movie I won't be adding to my collection anytime soon, no matter how bad I want it.
I picked it up last year and just love it. I don't remember having any problems (at least not any big enough to want to remember) I can't say much for the english track, but (again to the best of my memories) the japanese wasn't bad. Overall, I can't recommend it enough.:emoji_thumbsup...
Elizabeth Hurley Sorry for the long delay in responding (new computers take time to get right sometimes), but I must just be hitting the pages when I can't view the pix.
addicted to those shiny, shiny discs? nah never ;)
check out the entire list at criterion's site. Like many have said, you can't go wrong with any of them.
