I replaced my 950 with a 990. Still learning about the different features on the 990. So far, haven't had to use a sound pressure meter to fine tune my speakers as the auto set up does a great job.(using a SMS-1 for the sub). Had to buy HDMI to DVI cables for digital hook up to my TV and dvd...

Hey Chad Like Justin said, your speakers should go to your receiver. You said that you don't have a subwoofer now, so all you need is a cable from the receiver's sub output to the plate amp "line in". There should be a red and black wire coming out of the back of the plate amp. They attach to...
Hey Tom I use IRD MB-100'S to power my studio 60's. I think they sound great. Here is a link to Link Removed in case your interested.I have no interest in this company other than being a satisfied customer. good luck.
Hey Paul I had a similar experience with a monster power item. I purchased a monster HTS 5100. The blue diode for clean power worked once. I emailed monstercable.com explained the problem. They told me that the unit was working but the diode must have burned out. I sent the unit back to them...
Hey guys I had a Denon 3802 and used IRD 100MB's to power my paradigm studio speakers. My intention was to go separates. I started with three IRD mono-blocks for the front. This sounded like the best improvement. I later added four more IRD mono-blocks to power the sides and rears. I really...
So first off, does anyone use 7.1 regularly while watching DVDs? Yes. If so, does it make the HT seem more like a theater? I don't know if it makes my HT seem more like a theater, but I enjoy it. The 950 uses "cirrus extra surround" to create 6.1 or 7.1 output from either matrix-encoded or...
Had a 3802 for over a year. No problems with unit. I thought it was a great bargain for all the features it has.Only sold it because i got into separates.
I bought a 1646PC+. I had to send it back to SVS. They sent me a new one back in less than a week after receiving my old one. The sub is terrific and SVS customer service is even better.
Hey Nick I replaced a Denon 3802 with the Outlaw 950. I feel it was an upgrade and i'm very happy with the unit. I had no problem programing the remote and in fact it replaced a Easy Zapper. There iS a minimal amount of hiss which can only be heard if i stand next to my front speakers. I've...
I was using a Velodyne SPL-1200 in my system for a year. It sounded great. I got the upgrade bug, after reading all the reviews on the SVS subs and the "summer prices". I bought a SV16-46PC Plus. All i can say is wow. The SVS sub cost me less money and is a major improvement. good luck
I was using a 3802 as a pre-pro. I upgraded to a Outlaw 950.As much as i liked the 3802, it can't compare to the 950 in any way. Of course, this is in my set up and IMHO.
My 16-46PC+ is here and replacing a Velo spl-1200. I'm listening to "The Fifth Element" as i write trying to keep my feet still. The floor is vibrating!:D
The subwoofer is impressive looking to say the least. It was delivered in perfect condition!!! Great job by the SVS guys. Ron, you were...
Received shipping notice today. Sub should be in my home theater on the 18th.:emoji_thumbsup: What a week for me. Picking up my new truck tomorrow and getting my PC+ Wednesday.:D
i don't use the denon remote. i didn't like it from the get go! i've been using an easy zapper to control my system. you can add what ever commands you want to it.
hey itai
opinions are what we all have to offer.:) for music i agree with you. i use either neo6 or 7 channel stereo. but for movies, dvd or from cable, i find the wide mode quite impressive on my system in my home theater room.
