I have the 57H81 and I noticed the wide screen format for 4:3 signals much better than most of the other sets. I have seen some awful looking "stretches" out there. You're hard pressed to notice an unnatural look with most all types of scenes.

My cable signal fluctuates so much it's pitiful, even though I amplify the signal. I was relieved (so far) that I haven't seen any of the ghosts and multitude of other problems that I have read on line with all these HDTV's. Thanks for replying.
