Just got a new sony KV32HS510. I am really impressed with the picture when the source is HD, however for regular non-HD sources (which is what I watch about 90% of the time) the picture is often blurry. Probably because of the aggressive DRC. There is no way to turn it off as far as I can tell...
I just received my HK525 from Onecall. Hooked it up and it sounded great. Everything seemed to work fine until I tried the FM tuner. It seeks continuously and never stops on a channel. Good grief. I hope there is an easy fix for this. I spent two hours installing that thing. I sure don't feel...
When in bridged mode. I wanted to order the Axiom M80 towers. They are 4 ohm speakers. Do any PA2000/4000 owners have 4 ohm speakers running in bridged mode? Thanks.
I have a Directv receiver with an optical output. Some shows are in DD5.1. The problem I have is that the HK520 will detect the DD5.1 signal like it should (when its available), but when I switch to a show that isn't in DD the HK520 will switch to "Surround Off" rather than PLII. Is there a...
After auditioning several brands for my center and mains, I came away the most impressed with Klipsch. I usually only use my system for HT and I thought Klipsch was perfect for that use.
My only concern is build quality. How many of you Klipsch owners have had a problem with your speakers...
I have an AR HC2 HTiB but want to upgrade my center channel.
Which of these three would be the best choice for mostly HT?
If you guys have any other suggestions I would like to hear them.
Do you guys know if the 520 is able to expand a DD5.1 signal to 7.1 (matrixed of course)? Unfortunately, the HK520 does not apply Logic 7 to a DD5.1 source.
For a 5.1 system, which setup would sound better.
Running my mains off a bridged amp with 200 W per channel and let my receiver handle the other channels. Or running my mains and center off my amp (not in bridged mode) at 100 W per channel and let my receiver handle the surround channels...
I have a HK520 and a PA4000 4-channel amp (on the way). For now I will stick with a 5.1 setup. Should I use the amp to run the center and mains. Also should I biamp the mains back through the receivers internal amps?
I believe the 520 has two separate internal amps (one for the mains and...
I have a center channel capable of 150 Watt amplification. I wanted to biamp the signal to the speaker however that would result in delivering 175 Watts to the speaker.
Will running this setup damage the speaker?
Does anyone else have a problem with the audio signal from the PS2 when watching DVDs? To get an adequate sound level, I have to crank up the volume to -10 dB. Seems really high.
I don't have this problem with other AV sources.
I have my DVD connected to my HK520 via optical cable. However, I can only get 2 channels to show up on the display panel even when the DVD has a 5.1 signal. Anyone ever experience this problem?
