Bending it depends on its thickness...
But I'd still rather bend an aluminum jig back to near perfect condition, than have to reglue a shattered plastic jig :)
If it becomes too difficult, you could just provide the jig without any mounting holes for the router, and let the end user drill his...
Level of support will definitely be hard to beat. For home use though, if this is legit, I'd possibly like a lower Fs on it...the Brahma seems a bit too specific to Car Audio. Tim

You could buy 2 and go isobarik?

I'm not sure which bulbs you are using, but just surfing the GE site (a more popular bulb) their A-Series bulbs (common house hold bulbs) have a feature called Watt-Miser which allows them to list their bulbs at the higher wattage rating, but actually draws less power.
That was my...
As stated before, if you're too close to the edge, it will split...
I even split MDF using nails from a finish nailer???
But #6 course threaded screws (for sheetrock) I've found work the best.

Wouldn't the current needed to activate the Panamax matter?
It could pull too much current from the original 12V source?
Even though when paralleled the voltage is the same, it might be too demanding.
Just being paranoid I suppose.

Anyone have a good source for rack shelves/drawers? I built a rack for my equipment, but my local B&M wants about full retail on the rack shelves and drawers.
Any internet leads would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim
I realize this isn't so much DIY...but...
For about $45 per 4x8 sheet, you can get a lumber yard to do the laminate for you. I just got a 3/4" MDF laminated with 2 1/8" red oak sheets for an entertainment center, and it turned out perfect.
They use a huge pneumatic/hydrolic (??) machine to...
Love my 690...
Bases come about $89 each...depending on what you want.
In kit form, you can get the 690 (Porter Cable by the way) with the fixed base, and the plunge base for $200. Sometimes Rocklers has a special in which they throw in another fixed base for free (to attach to a router...

Who is us guys?
I know this forum has strict regulations about spamming...
Eric and I are not resellers...we're not looking for any type of profit. We are only looking to cut our costs. I frequent this forum, and thought some people might be interested.
I don't care what other...

Us guys? Who is us guys?
This forum is so funny, I swear...I've never seen a forum, where any topic can be turned into a pissing match.
Perhaps that's why there is a disclaimer on this forum?
Look fella's, this isn't a battle of wits, nor a question of anyone's intelligence...
I'm the Tim that's going in on this...
Bill, these are the types of questions we are looking for when we contact Dan.
We aren't placing an order just yet. We want to find out if anyone else is interested, and if so, what questions they may have.
Tim
Scott,
Yes, exactly, those are my thoughts as well. My buddy is not yet sure what he wants to do, but I like the M&K tri's...
I'm not sure how that crossover would look either...but I figure Adire does :) That's why they get the big bucks to do this (actually, its not that much...).
If...
Bill,
Myself and a buddy are interested in having Adire design/construct a crossover for a possible di/bi/tri (?? unsure so far) using the 281 kit, however, this is still up in the air. The cost of the crossover design could be split up amongst whoever is interested to help lower the total...
This is a stretch, but do you have to turn the subwoofer output on, on your DVD player? Or is there some type of subwoofer dB level adjustment on it?
Tim
If he's only going to have it for a little while longer, then what is the issue with sticking a choke on the speaker wire?
Besides its a power sink hole, and not a real way to cross over a sub?
It will work...??? No?
Tim
Brandon,
Yeah, same with my home. I wasn't going to run anything non-plenum through my HVAC ducts...
There is some room between the ceiling of the first floor, and the floor of the second floor, but from where the AC duct runs down from the rafters, I'd have to go across multiple floor...
Gives you all signals...like pink noise?
Or gives you the full range, as if it were another pre-out?
If you're only going to have it for a little time, a really cheap, and a really dirty way of fixing it would just be to stick a choke on the speaker wire...
It's aweful, but it might hold...
Brandon...
Well, my home is definitely a cookie cutter SD home...
I have a two story, so it sounds like my endeavors would be exactly like yours...
Except, I'd have to run across multiple ceiling beams (all perpendicular) to get wire over to my entertainment unit.
Though, there may be AC...
What about if you don't have a basement? I live here in Sandy Eggo, CA and everything will have to be done through my walls...
I just had 2 20 amp circuits installed in my garage, and had no room in my panel, so they used a quad-breaker (2 20's and 2 30's) in a double stacked arrangement.
I...
