BenQ W100 Projector Completely Loses Power After Startup

I have had this projector for years and rarely use it. Last night I went to use it and it ran for about two minutes, and then lost all power (all LEDS completely off). I had to unplug the power cord, wait a few seconds and replug it in before the power LED would even light... then it would...

    Axiom M50 owners?

Ron, Thanks for your reply. I e-mailed Dan a reply asking him the same thing... basically how does the M50 sound in Large mode. That's how I plan to run them, as my receiver has a subwoofer setting for either Normal or +Main. If I run it as Normal, most of the LFE signals are sent to the...

    Sub or no Sub?

I guess I didn't really clarify myself as to my situation. I am NOT looking for wall shaking or window shattering sound, considering I rent a room in a house and everything is set up in my bedroom, I doubt my roommate would appreciate his entire house shaking. So with that being said, I think...

    Sub or no Sub?

Some points to consider... I plan to set the front M60's to the Large to take advantage of the fact they go down to 32Hz; which is lower than my 50W sub can go right now. Secondly, the M60's have an efficiency rating of 95dB, making them able to produce higher levels at lower volume, thus...

    Sub or no Sub?

Right now I have an HT system with 4 low-end bookshelf speakers and a center, along with a 50W sub. I am upgrading to a floorstanding Axiom M60 speaker that has a tweeter, midrange and two 6.5" woofers per speaker. My room is 11' x 12' with a 10' vaulted ceiling. My question is, should I...

    Frequency Response?

I'm a bit confused about my subs frequency response. According to the manual for my 50W sub, the "overall frequency response is 30Hz-180Hz" but then is says "-3dB limits: 40Hz-160Hz". So which is the most accurate frequency response that my sub is performing at?? Thanks. -Brad

    Center Large or Small

I'm just wondering what is the best setting for a center speaker that can go down to 50Hz. My receiver's crossover for small setting is 80Hz- is there really anything gained by setting the center to large? Or are there sounds produced by the center below 80Hz that I'm missing by using the...

    Multiple Surge protectors?

Does anyone know if using multiple surge protectors causes a drop or fluctuation in electrical current? I have a cheap multi-outlet surge protector plugged into the wall outlet, attached to that is a cheap single-plug surge protector, and then attached to that is a surge power strip. I’m...

    +/- 3dB?

There is so much information when it comes to home theater and electronics, to some this might be a stupid question. I am curious to know whether differences between speaker efficiency can be or should be adjusted through your receiver’s speaker setup. Such as if the front and rear speakers...

    RPTV burn-in?

I am considering purchasing a rear projection tv, but I've heard bits and pieces about screen burn-ins caused by some tv station logos or watching letterbox movies frequently. My question is... how long does it take for these burn-ins to occur? My main concern is that I watch the History...
