Looks like Amazon's now explicitly stating that the movies will be split across both sides of a DVD-18. I'd still like to know why they seem to be the only one with that info.
I'm curious as to where Amazon got their info. They don't even seem to know what region the discs will be, yet they know the exact running time for both parts of each movie. The press release and official site both say that the movie is on the first disc and the doc is on the second. I...
The old style NES (front loader) actually has RCA composite video and (mono) audio out ports, so nothing is needed besides a RCA cable and Y adapter. (It also had RF out, of course). Unfortunately, it didn't have S-video out. The new style (top loader) only has RF out, I believe.
Am I the only one who finds it a bit odd that the DVD side of the dualdisc has a DD stereo track? If I didn't have a DVD-A player, choosing between the CD stereo and DD 5.1 tracks might be a tough choice. DD stereo vs. CD stereo though, hmm, tough decision. (or am I wrong about CD stereo...
I really don't like that there's no way to turn the white rabbit feature on the Burly Man Chronicles off. That animated icon is really distracting. Besides, I can't be the only one who'd rather not stop a documentary in the middle, start playing a featurette and then go back to the...
Looks like Amazon shipped mine today. Yep, quite odd as they usually ship them a day before they are released. I couldn't access my order history all day yesterday. Maybe a technical problem prevented them from shipping them? Then again (of course...) maybe not.
Meh, I'd much rather have the regular one with the cool digipack artwork. That LE just doesn't do it for me. Don't care about the Neo Bust, but the booklet that comes with the LE might be interesting. Then again, it probably doesn't have much that won't be in The Art of The Matrix...
Looks like it's back to December 14th. Just went to lordoftherings.net, and this popped up. I don't know if it's been announced before, but they also have a breakdown of the special features. (click on the DVD on the left of the page) Edit: That now lists the release date for TTT, but I...
I doubt Netflix will carry it. They don't have the LotR EEs or the Black Hawk Down deluxe edition. Then again, they do have the Alien Quadrilogy. Hmm...
I believe the beginning of the game happens slightly before the beginning of Reloaded, but the game ends in about the same place as Reloaded does. Apparently, they are planning on making two sequels to the game (not counting the matrix online), so would that mean that even further down the...
Sounds like a bidding war to me. Several people latch onto an auction and they all have to have it and are willing to pay unreasonably high prices, even if there are cheaper auctions open with the exact same item. Just recently I saw a (rather rare) game that still has time left in the...
Yeah, I can't understand that, unless Best Buy had some sort of exclusivity deal with the trailers and their Reloaded bonus disc. It's too bad that nobody's selling that disc seperately anymore. $15 isn't an absolutely awful price for the disc and the Reloaded DVD, but I still don't want to...
Guess that means that they won't use the National Geographic disc as a pack-in in the giftset. If the pattern holds, they'll have to have some sort of extra disc for the set. What could it be? The wait is killing me.
Nope. There isn't a RotK preview on the TTT EE. The TTT preview on the FotR EE was first shown theatrically near the end of FotR's run. There was no RotK preview shown with TTT theatrically. Oh, and interesting thread title. :D
What's "Inside the Animatrix"? I suppose it could be one of the features on the Revisited or Animatrix DVDs, but which one? I'm not aware of anything on either DVD with that title, but that could just mean that they took something from one of the DVDs and just changed the title. if it is...
