My father wants to publish his photos on CD but most people (his age) don't have a computer, so he'd like to know if he can give that kind of CD to DVD player owners. Are photo CDs readable with a common DVD player (or an uncommon one)? Regards, Olivier MORELLE

Most forum softwares allow threads to be "pinned" (that means always on top).
Fortunately, I think only admins can do that though, imagine if all threads were pinned, you'd have to skim through 20 pages of threads before seeing your own.:p)

I'm currently in the process of choosing a new AV receiver (Entry level) to replace my old DPL only one. From what I've found in retailers nearby, my choices are:
Kenwood KRF-V7050D
Yamaha RX-V520
and Pioneer VSX-D710
I'm currently leaning towards the Kenwood because it's the only one...
not Best Buy, although it's a close french equivalent (DARTY not to name it).
They've got the Yamaha VS10B receiver but it lacks a FM tuner and is a bit short as far as inputs are concerned.
They also have the Panasonic SA-HE7 but it lacks DTS decoding capability.
I'm planning to "upgrade" my HT (actually, it's not exactly a HT, it's an integrated mini system by SAMSUNG). My choices for upgrade are quite limited because I'm tied to a store (store credit). I've got 2 choices that seem valid to me as far as receivers are concerned:
Philips FR966 or...
