I know christopher Nolan directed the movie, but did he actually write it? I love his earlier work in Memento and Following mainly because of Nolan's excellent scripts, and I was wondering if I should expect the same from this one.

I think it's about time that all those horror movies of the 70's and 80's that simply won't die and come out with sequal after sequal are put to death for good. With each one the worse and worse they get.

Gladiator is a terrible movie simply because it's nearly an exact clone of movies like Ben-Hur and Sparticus. The special effects draw people away from following the plot and people don't relize that the plot is very shallow. That's what I think about Gladiator.
