o a search on the net. You can most likely find a crossover design usung the drivers you would like.
Check out www.diyaudio.com
Under the loudspeakers section, I recall seeing a post for a crossover for the above drivers not too long ago
Highly recommend you do as Dan discussed. Get a kit and build your own crossover. The parts in the kit he mentioned are of excellent quality for the cost. Another good kit to try out would be the Dayton 2-way from parts express. Again, excellent value.
You need to build a wooden frame, then stretch an old t-shirt around the wood frame. Paint the t-shirt fibreglass resin, then build up with a couple layers of fibeglass mat. I then like to add long strand fibreglass bondo to the inside to build up to about 3/4" thick. Very dead enclosure!

I would look into products by Ascendant Cables. Dont know if you can get them in the US, but they are available from Link Removed in Canada. Unbeleivable cables for the money.
The phone line is only needed for Pay per View. Thats it. The satellite companies will tell you it needs to be plugged in as this is a way they can detect people who have illegal "pirate" cards in their system. Yes you can still get Pay per View without the phone line plugged in, all you need...
Lee, I too am still waiting for a link to the results of one of these tests, or could someone please fax it to me. Please email me for fax number. Thanks, Jeff PS: Lee, if someone can happen to send one to you, please forward it to me.
I agree 100% Lee. I simply meant $8000 cables are not for me. I dont have that kind of disposable income. But if I did, Im sure $8000 cables would be on my shopping list. Many high end shops will aloow people to borrow cables to evaluate in their system. I feel everyone should take advantage...
David, I too have read the stuff at axiom but still have yet to read a report. All I have seen is hearsay on the forum. But, as I stated earlier, from my own experience I have and can hear a difference between cables, these are very slight differences mind you. What I was trying to point...
Chu, You repetitively post that there is no sonic or visual difference between audio and video cables of equivalent build quality. The reason I post this rebutle, is not to start a flame war. I just want to post an opposing opinion so some of these people will continue to experiment and try new...
My take on extended warranty protection: During my engineering courses in university, I took a statistics course which included some reliability calculations. Something called the "bathtub curve" statistically predicts the failure rate for a given product, and from what I was told, holds...
I recently ordered $50 US worth of goods. It came to $77 canadian on my visa, and then I was charged $45 for brokerage. Getting stuff from across the border sucks.
If Monster does not have a canadian distributor, local stores would be buying small shipments from monster USA. Brokerage fees can kill you on small orders which could be part of the reason for extremely high prices in Canada.
Wirecare.com is almost double the cost for PET that some other suppliers online are. Maybe you should relook your agreement with Wirecare so they can become competitive with other online retailers that will also cut to small lengths.
Heatshrink.com 1/4"PET $0.28 per foot
Wirecare.com 1/4"PET...
Thanks for the insight chu, I was previously unaware that the opposing flows would cancel the inductance created by the coil. I beleive it was here that I heard the previous information.
By coiling wire you are creating an inductor, your best bet is to trim it to length with about a foot or 2 of slack. Dont coil large amounts of speaker wire.
I personally beleive that there is nothing better than bare wire for your speakers. Bananas and spades only add an additional crimp/solder/break in the wire. I beleive bananas and spades only purpose is for convienience. I dont understand how people can say that the connectors prevent...
