I saw the show and had my doubts at first. I've been a fan of Chapelle for a long time. After the show got rolling, it seemed to pick up quite a bit. It's unpolished, but very good humor.

I have an Onkyo 595 i bought off of ubid about a year ago. Just recently, something strange started happening. When I switch to DVD, i get picture but no sound. I have to then hit the CD button to get sound. It seems to work fine, but I think something has to be seriously wrong internally...

I just wanted to let everyone know what I just got: A Beautiful Mind Black Hawk Down Spy Game The Mothman Prophecies Corky Romano All for $6.99 each! Also, a few days ago at another BB, I got Blade II for $9.99. All were in original cases and in great shape.

This has to be one of the funniest shows out there right now. I will agree that it took a little while to get rolling with the comedy, but now that all of the introductions of the characters are complete, the show seems to be letting loose. The fact that the show doesn't have laugh tracks...

Well, I guess that's why they call us newbies. I went home @ lunch and sure enough, the dts was turned off by default. I turned it on and it played perfect. Thanks again for the help! Eric

I just went and picked up my new Shrek DVD. I went to play it in its DTS mode and I had no sound. It played fine in all of the other 5.1 modes. I have an Onkyo DS 595 and a Panasonic DVD player (which does play DTS tracks). Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Eric

Thanks everyone. I did some searching after I posted and found many threads dedicated to what I needed. I have a modest DVD collection so far (Jurassic Park, Men in Black, Matrix, Seven) and I think I will start expanding really soon. Eric
