Yeah, it would turn out like that movie 8MM. Whoever directed that movie should stay away from the Batman franchise because he'd make a WAY too dark Batman movie. ;) :D
TVShowsOnDVD now has an article up saying Warner IS working on a release but they're not ready to announce it officially. Sounds really good to me. I don't think I've watched a single episode since the series finale aired over 2 (!) years ago. In fact, don't think I've seen very many of the...
Pretty cool teaser. Short and sweet, and with just a tad of the theme music at the end. That music still sends a shiver down my spine whenever I hear even a bit of it.
I really liked IV, and it was the only Saw film that left me totally anxious for the next. I am hoping though that they stop at VI and end everything just right. A series like this wouldn't be fun if the plot just keeps going on seemingly endlessly.
Don't know if I believe the episodes will be the ONLY special features. Would think that they'd at least get a Burton commentary on there. Though if even that's all there's gonna be can't say that I'm too excited enough to actually get it, Burton doesn't do that great of commentaries from the...
Just saw the trailer last night, I'm not familiar with the cartoon (before my time, I have heard of it and seen clips from it enough to get the pop-culture refrences when it shows up on Family Guy or Geico commercials). I still don't have much desire to check the cartoon out, but the trailer...
Like another poster said, the theater chain in my area (Regal) plays all the "commercial" ads in a 20-minute pre-screening. At the showtime the trailers start. The "commercial" ads when they used to start at the showtime really bugged the hell out of me until they swicthed to this way of doing...
I really liked the commentary. Better than the one with only Dan and Bill. The zombie "extras" were pretty annoying, was really glad it didn't last for long, though I must admit they did say a few pretty funny things that gave me a good laugh, but they just kept interupting the others when they...
I guess I'm lucky since I go to the theaters fairly often (at least once a month) and I hardly ever have any complaints when it comes to other people being annoying, things breaking down, etc. Sure, it happens, but very rarely with me and it seems that it never happens when it's a really great...
I saw this tonight and LOVED it. I've never been big on fairy tales or fantasy type stuff, even as a kid. I do like the LotR movies a lot, but since those came out I've been somewhat annoyed with the fantasy genre's big-boom. Although, there was something about the trailer for this one that drew...
I'm still making my way through the Complete Series DVDs (I'm taking a break right now between seasons 3 & 4). I've been dreading this movie since I heard of it, but this teaser has gotten me a little excited, like there's some potential it won't suck. I'll wait till a fuller trailer comes out...
"Dead Beat Dance" was taken out, though curiously, when the scene starts where the song was suppose to play, it IS there at the beginning (you can hear the loud laughing) then continues with whatever the replaced song was, then magically goes back to Dead Beat Dance at the end of the scene...
HOLY MATRIX! Never thought this film would get SE treatment. Can't wait to see what gets put back into the film (besides more gore). So many great lines in this movie. "Don't wake my friend, he's dead tired." "I eat green berrets for breakfast, and right now, I'm VERY hungry!" "Let off...
lol! :D Gotta love that guy. He's going to be missed indeed with this movie. :frowning: Even though it's been quite some time since he died I still hope they do some sorta memorial mention in the credits for him.
Really? What happened? Anyone know if it would be easy for them to include some of the SNL sketches on the DVD? Or do rights issues come into play there? Would be awesome if they could get those in.
NatR is one of my favorite comedies (as a guilty pleasure, that is). I wonder what type of extra will be on it. Knowing Paramount's special editions for their comedies I assume just a featurette and maybe something else. I wonder if they'll give it some sub-title like the "No...YEEEEES" Edition...
Oh man, I'd so buy at least the first few seasons of this. I was a huge Ranger fan back in the day. I'd be really interested in getting all the episode up till Jason, Zach, and Trini left the show.
Well, here's what was said at the chat tonight:
Looks like there just may be a glimmer of hope after all. Seems like Warner really might be interested in releasing more, I just hope that whatever changes they make in the music doesn't hurt the show, IF whatever plans they have get that far...
I totally don't like it either. The only one I've seen with a replaced logo is Christmas Vacation. Totally takes me out of the nostalgia from all the times I've watched the movie.
I've only bought the first 2 seasons so far, so I wouldn't mind buying a mega-set and having 2 copies of the first 2 seasons. I really hope they include the 2 tv-movies. I have them recorded off tv and they're actually very good. If they wanted to make it even better, they'd include the un-aired...
I thought I read some months ago that Vols 1 and 3 were going to be going out of print, but amazon still has them available. Did that turn out to be false? Right now the only ones I need are 7 & 8. I'll try to get those really soon, just in case.
I'll buy this wether Dan's involved or not. Disappointing that it won't be the most ultimate SE of the movie possible, but I'll take whatever special features they can put together. This is honestly one of my favorite movies ever. I just REALLY hope the original soundtrack is on there. I don't...
Okay, that makes sense. When he crashed and saw that it was just filled with sand I just thought that maybe they were lying and didn't actually have any gas. Makes much more sense now.
