funny so many years later I still get notifications on this thread from time to time. Ron, those all sound so appealing. I remember way back at the meet at your house I had to drive across 3 cities to get Stone.
Theaters are not open here yet. The return of the drive-in though is taking off. My buddy is building an outside system as we've taken to Disney +, Prime and Shudder. Not risking going to a theater even at 50% capacity.
I'm going to lose thousands of $$$$ with the performing arts center...
Just got called back to work. Limited work since March had me binging shows left and right. I got back and they lifted the block on HTF. At least for now :)
How are the droogs?
Steve, it tends to be by city or individual business policy. I’m required to wear gloves and mask at work. Most stores around here require masks to enter.
Don’t see many without them unless people are out walking or running
I only use a computer at work. The streets here are dead as well and it seems to be helping as our cases are pretty low. My work has split shifts to a/b to limit “cross contamination.” Out of utter boredom, day drinking is “a thing” here, I take up middle of the night drinking. Although, to keep...
Well, well, well how are things? I thought as a fellow droog I’d have a list of things I’ve watched as well. I’m following Westworld and just saw 1917 which I loved. This made me want to dust off the old Band of Brothers tin and give it a rewatch. I day drink while making sure the kids keep up...
Yeah, I like the red top on the MX-5. The reviews on them were very good. I’m removed from it though, I’m obsessed with guitars, pedals and amps. I simple drive my Honda Civic or Lexus Master lease. That car looks really fun to drive
Steve I haven’t seen Midway but I do have an Academy screener of 1917.
my buddies and I are having “field day” showing Lennon movies and it was suggested we open the whole James Bond “can-o-worms.”
Hello Testies, since I was over at the Orca thread thought I would attempt to catch up. The kids and I thought both JoJo Rabbit and Knives Out were hysterical. Joker, loved it. My son and I saw Terminator Dark Fate opening day and we both had a rip-roaring time with that one. He’s at the age(11)...
I had to chime in as Randy texted me that this was coming. Never got the comparisons to Jaws. Although, I love Jaws I always found Orca just a bit more moody and dark. Just YT the Orca main theme by Morricone and prepare for chills.
I still enjoy Goodfellas and looking forward to The Irishman. I would have thought I logged on to Testy and there would be baby Yoda everywhere.
Steve, I love Taxi Driver as well but would rank Raging Bull pretty close; my wildcard being Mean Streets.
I’ve read(not necessarily here) complaints on episode length. I disagree, first show in a long while where I immediately rewatch episodes. Episode 3 was astonishing.
My 10 year old, who has memorized the Star Wars encyclopedia as well as watched all Clone Wars seems to be getting even more than...
This is mostly a sharing and please move to the appropriate sub-forum. This is a free invite only event so I'm not selling anything. Just a long time member sharing my enthusiasm for the Blade Runner 2049 release. I can't describe the effort and love going into this event. Full size White Dragon...
Hello clan! I haven't been around much since HTF pulled out of Tapatalk. This site is a monster to maneuver on mobile. Do people still have computers? I dusted one off and plugged it into a wall in an abandon building. Surrounded by zombies but we get The Fab 4 tonight along with a BBQ burger...
There was a time years ago that I really enjoyed Newcastle. It's become quite sugary and watered down since its' sale. I enjoy that style too. Samuel Smith has a decent nut brown
