I am a Petula Clark fan, and I thought that she was remarkably good in the film. Both movies are excellent. This is surprising as most remakes are terrible.
I don't know from personal knowledge, however, every site which I searched indicates that those music videos are only on the Immortal Edition. DVD File is the only source I found which says that they are on the Special Edition. I would say get the Immortal Edition.
Well, allow me to bash. I didn't like the MTV style fight scenes in Daredevil. I want to see clearly what is going on in a battle. I hate Ben Affleck, but I must admit that he did a good job as Daredevil. He fit the role to a tee. I will double dip on this one. I love comic book movies.
Unfortunately it is released by Alpha. How is the transfer? I don't expect a digitally remastered masterpiece, but some Alphas I have seen were literally unwatchable. I only own one, Fury Of The Wolfman, which has an acceptable transfer, though not a great one.
Well, first, I apologize for violating forum rules. Second, you admit that you are one of the few who defends Lynch's practice. This indicates that you realize that most people consider chapter stops to be essential to a DVD. It is one of the things which differentiates DVD from VHS. Your...
Damin, you are a hypocrite. If some big studio put out a film you liked with no menus and scene access, you would be screaming bloody murder. So would all the people defending this brainless decision by Blue Underground. I note again that no one has yet been able to explain why leaving menus and...
I actually find Snuff to be an amusing film. It has a silly plot which attempts to mimic the Manson killings, and it is fun to watch if one likes exploitation films. Given its history, it deserved bonus features. All DVD's deserve menus and scene access. Even Alpha puts those on all discs. By...
A sly joke? It wasn't funny. Since when do companies release DVD's as part of a joke? But, seriously, what is sly about it? Nobody thought this was a real snuff film. Everyone knew that Blue Underground released it. So, no one was fooled by this ploy. What exactly did it accomplish from a...
Well, actually my primary complaint is that Snuff was not even given a barebones DVD treatment.Menus and scene access are expected minimums on all DVD's. Would you suggest that all companies release low demand films sans menus as scene access?
That is an interesting point. The weight of the thinpacks may add to the stress. But that plastic is brittle to begin with when exposed to temperature changes.
